    Yup....BL is a lot more lenient than EPL....

    If not, I totally disagree. This referee just didn't have the balls to pull out the red card.

    That's why the referee was slammed for it.

    nope...serious as a heart attack....in EPL ..that would have been a straight red..no question...generally, i find BL to be more physical than EPL....BLrefs tend to issue a lot more warnings for rough play than they do in EPL....one final note...I also find that refs tend to whistle more for a big club playing at home...a lot more...

    in fact...some refs like Howard Webb actually "play" for big clubs like Man U....:) last year's best signing

    Too many BL refs also issue cards just because a guy hits the ground the wrong way.
