No idea but David Moyes getting the sack soon is spreading fast. Expected to be sacked as early as today.. http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1792411/reports-david-moyes-set-sacked-manchester-united?cc=5901
It's not possible. Klopp has made it clear several times that he honors his contracts. It's part of his character. He even admitted a couple of days ago that he'd decline a Barcelona offer right away. I don't know why the British media keep mentioning him. It's not going to happen. On another note: Mkhitaryan's position has switched to ROM/LOM where he had a couple of fantastic performances recently - which leaves the No 10 position with only Reus (who could easily move to the wings again). Dortmund might need a new playmaker.
If it is van Gaal or Klopp, almost certainly. Both him and Nani will suddenly be in favour as technical attacking players unlike Young and Valencia.
BREAKING: The club would like to place on record its thanks for the hard work, honesty and integrity he brought to the role. (part 2 of 2)— Manchester United (@ManUtd) April 22, 2014
Will Giggs still be able to play rest of the matches remaning? I hope Man Utd can land Ancelotti if Real Madrid gets sick of him by the way.
Klopp has ruled himself out, it seems. Wants to stay at Dortmund. Van Gaal the favorite now. Simeone, Hiddink, Rudi Garcia, Blanc, Quieroz, De Boer, Conte other names being mentioned.
Oh boy this is weird. Would have expected it to happen only at the Summer if anything but more likely in the winter transfer period But sooner or later should have happened imo
Haven't read what the 'pundits' are writing, but at first sight this does seem like weird timing (although I agree it was coming sooner or later). The loss against Everton effectively ended their season (now, even a Europa League spot seems unlikely), and I really don't think it matters whether they finish 6th or 7th. They clearly need a fresh start, with some fresh players, and that is not going to happen before the summer, so what do they hope to accomplish by sacking Moyes now..? It only underscores their desperation -- maybe it's intended to placate the supporters, not sure. Klopp has said no (and has re-iterated his position after the sacking, and -- even though football is a sport where 'no' does not really mean 'no' -- I believe him because of the kind of person he is), Ancelotti would be mad to leave Madrid for this circus, Hiddink has just agreed to take over Holland, I doubt if may other people can enter into negotiations yet. I guess it could be Van Gaal's if he wants it after the WC. The question for this thread is what happens to Shinji, and that seems very unclear, although I think most people here will agree any new manager would be nuts not to make more tactical use of him.
Still think Moyes is a good manager. Maybe to much too soon. Fergie was always a tough act to follow. Surely Van Gaal is the logical choice?— 👑 Joey Barton 👑 (@Joey7Barton) April 22, 2014
hahaha well, let's see if Giggs wants to play Kagawa. Actually I thought it would have been good if Moyes stayed until the end of the season as he was using Shinji lately, and I mean United is f'cked this season anyway.
Was told today that Dortmund were lining up an official bid for Kagawa. (NOT a swap) Won't happen now - Shinji wants to stay.— Raphael Honigstein💙 (@honigstein) April 21, 2014
