Anyone know what the best ever YA goal scoring week was? We had to have been pretty high up the ranks this week, no?
Jimmy Mauer got a start for Universidad de Concepcion in a Chilean cup match going 90 and picking up a clean sheet in a 1-0 victory last Wednesday.
I did a little research after reading about how well Derby Carrillo is doing in El Salvador. He has a couple clean sheets in the league.
A quieter week this time. No movement in the top 5 on the goals list. Taylor and Howard remain at the summit of the goals and clean sheets lists, respectively. A few things missed in the above update: Sonny Guadarrama scored a league goal for Mérida. Derby Carrillo had another clean sheet to bring his total to 3. I'll add these next week.
Brian Edwards keeps a clean sheet as Degerfors and Landskrona battle to a scoreless draw in a league match.
League clean sheet for Josh Wicks as Thor Akureyri prevail 4-0 over Tindastoll. Edit: And a Guzan clean sheet in a Cap One Cup victory over Tranmere. Edit #2: As I was looking for info on some of the matches from today I happened across a Romanian cup match that ended 31-0.
Matt Taylor with a league goal via PK Brad Rusin nets a goal in the rout of Tarnby in the Landspokal Cup.
Looks like we should add Aron Johannsson to the list- 7 league goals for AGF this season. Need to check if any were scored before the cut-off date.
