The 7th ranked team. If Freiburg stays in the top-6.
With your logic Wolfsburg must have already qualified for Europa league as well...

uh yeah you're right, didn't really thoroughly thought this. Obviously they both would have the same rights to qualify
well, at least that means Eintracht would have more chances to qualify.

He did pretty good against Lazio here in Italy, none in Stuttgart offensive side did better than him.
He simply missed to score and this is important for a FW.
Now I hope he will play a good CC (he's JNT best scorer so far) and stay in Bundesliga in the next season too.

    Stuttgart signed 5 new players:
2 wing-backs (Rausch from Hannover and Shwaab from Leverkusen).
2 attacking-midfilders (Rojas from Melbourne Victory and Sararer from Furth).
    1 is GK.

I think this means that Sakai will have a tough competition next season, while I think Okazaki will have to look for a new club!

No big surprise, they can't be happy whit his season. I guess he stays in Germany though.

The problem is that with these players coming in there will be hardly any role for Okazaki in the team even as a super-sub.
With these transfer all of the 8 places for the starting line-up attacking line and their back-ups will be occupied.
The starting attacking line for the team will probably be: Harnik-Maxim-Traore & Ibisevic.
While their back-ups will probably be: Holzhauser-Rojas-Sararer & Macheda (If he stays).
and don't forget that Stuttgart will promote some players from their youth squad, so it is unlikely that Okazaki will have a chance even as a super-sub if he stays, unless he hit form in the off-season and gained his starting spot back, but from what I've seen from Labbadia I think that he is not content with Okazaki anymore.

Macheda hasn't made any impression so far, and I don't see why a dissapointing loan player should be ranked over a dissapointing Okazaki. Rojas has not proven himself in the BL, why is he already earning a better standing? Holzhauser... Did he score already?
Also it's pointless to discuss about who's in and who's out the squad when we don't know who'll leave.

I don't think he has taken the chances he got anyway.

    23 games, 10 starts, 1 goal.

Ya, this has been a terrible season for Okazaki. He has been off his form for the NT and for his club. Hopefully he can find a squad in the Bundasliga that remembers his scoring ways and gives him an opportunity to regain his form. He's been one of the biggest disappointments of the year for JPA.

Personally. No idea what exactly is wrong. He showed he is capable of playing in Bundesliga in the previous seasons. He shows he can still score goals (JNT) - but it is worrying non the less.
WC is coming and this guy needs to find a club where he will be able to play a lot and if possible in some ok league

A loan with another team of Bundes would be better. Like Freiburg or Mainz.

Loaning a player his age out to hope he returns a better player in 2014? To a club which Stuttgart might find themselves rivaling in the league tables? Not speaking even about that he would block a position for another player at the loaning club, or that he might not start for these sides, the only merit of such a move would be that Stuttgart gets him off the payroll for a season.

If he should be available for loan, the clubs taking him would be newly promoted sides. Which would be a step back for Okazaki as in Stuttgart he could at least see some EL playing time.
So: fighting for his place in Stuttgart > transfer to another club > loan deal.
