Almost scored with his "hissatsu". The diving header.

    They are 0 -1 down.

He really needs a goal now, his goal/chance ratio is one of the worst right now. Doesn't help that he's terribly unlucky right now.

The only positive news after this match is that (maybe) someone here in Italy has been impressed by Okasamurai excellent performance.

He has been 'wasting' his opportunities in front of goal from the reports I read. One would call it activity, but when a player is out of form and having a down season others call it a waste. Its great the coach trusted him and let him play a full 90, but Okazaki has got to be put the ball in the back of the net ...he does have a reputation IMO of being wasteful. But then again he can score some amazing goals as well. Hopefully he can find his form soon.

Okazaki needs to stand strong during challenges.

Every single light contact, he crumbles. His last dangerous atempt on target was a clear example.

Yes, im watching the replay of the match now..his header to begin the game was a great strike but the keeper made an even better stop. And his holdup play needs to improve, as you said when hes being challenged shoulder to shoulder he doesnt do a good job of staying strong and on his feet. Although he had a good match, just want to keep seeing him improve and impact games more.

I bet Stuttgart expect more goals from him. Last season was good though. Just 1 goal in the league is far from good enough.

I bet Stuttgart expected much more goals this season in general..26 on the season for the club. 14th in the league out of 18 in the Bundasliga. They are offensively challenged to say the least. Okazaki is part of the problem, but the team cant score...so it will reflect on him. Last year Stuttgart were 4th in goals, with 63...my question is what changed in a year?

He has poor display in front of goal for this entire season at Stuttgart

Seriously no idea whats up with him. JNT he plays great, Stuttgart not only that the team plays crappy he when given chances wastes them as well

    Really disturbing stuff

SHOULD have scored one in each half... he takes no time on the ball in front of the goal

Wait, I just discovered that Stuttgart is still in the cup.
Does this mean that if they reach the final or Freiburg beats them but gets in Europa League for their league table, they will be in Europa League too?
