No he isn't. But it's normal anyway, he's just back from the olympics. Wouldn't be surprised to see him more in the Bundesliga than in EL

It's normal Labadia said.He said Sakai is tired and has some problems with his muscles, some light injury. He get 100% his starting spot back.Okazaki today I heard was very good. 3 good passes from him which could lead to a goal and one header in front of goal. I read that he was very active and every attack rolls on his left side.

Fun fact: Hoogland, Gotoku's rival for the right SB-position, and Traore, who was subbed in for Okazaki today, provided the assists for the 2-0.

He missed a header, however not a wrong match for him.

Okazaki remaind on the bench for the whole match, but the good news is that most of his rivals for the starting spot were horrible today;Gentner walking into opponents, collide with them and lost the ball for many times,Ibisevic wasted a penalty in the last minutes of the match and wasted the rebound with an empty net at his mercy, and then Wolfsburg scored after a counter-attack.
I think that Labbadia will regret it that he didn't play Okazaki after this disastrous performance by his attacking options.

Plz dont expect wonders from every japanese player,Okazaki is great but he plays for a very good team and they have plenty of good men,so it's nothing special when he sits on the bench for some games. The last 2 season he did it too,he get his chances,he is one of the best players at Stuttgart the last seasons so let's wait its only the first day.

But I have to say I didn't like it too that he sits on the bench ;D

I'm not expecting wonders from every Japanese players, but I'm crticizing Labbadia. When most of his attacking players have a bad game,Why he didn't sub Okazaki in to change this rhythm?
