http://www.nieuwsblad.be/sportwereld/cnt/DMF20130120_00440039 not sure how good this magazine is, but according to it, things will be quite hard at Standard. Basically, it says that there is a total disconnection (more like, a fight) between the club (as the president) and the coach now. It seems that the coach didn't want a player to leave and he left (Reginal Goreux), also he asked for a couple of players and the club said no. The article basically claims in the end that Nagai and Ono are bought for commercial-marketing purposes, like selling the rights. I think Nagai will get his fair chances someway though, even if these players clearly weren't requested by the coach.... Now, about Ono....
Having watched Liege's 0-0 game vs Gent this weekend, I wasn't particularly impressed by their FWs. Nagai atleast should get some decent playing-time here I think.
He just had his pressconference. One of the things that's picked up by several news agencies is his claim to be really fast. He says he runs the 50 meter in 5 seconds. Any truth in that?
5,8 according to Standard's tweet (personal best ever I guess). It is a known fact by the way, so yes.
He definitely showed some speed @ London, esp giving Spain defence a horrid time. He also said Usain bolt, fastest man in the world, his target and rival.
uh, oh... Standard just bought George Tucudean who looks to be a young promising striker. The real "problem" is that he's romanian just like the coach, which means what you can guess. Oh well, more competition. Gotta step it up Kensuke
called up for tomorrow's match, so he will at least make the bench. Ono wasn't. I don't know if it's a technical choice or something else
yes, also romanian coach did not hesitate to put in his romanian pupil, but that was predictable edit: woah Nagai in 3 subs already
