There's still the away leg, guys. Then he could think about jumping ship, if possible.

He made his choice back then... now paying the price.

Too bad a excellent player is wasting precious time of his career.

wasting his time? In Russian League meanwhile playing CL football. Somewhat doubt it

He'll be sold today or in the winter transfer window, somewhat doubt that he will sign a new contract and somewhat doubt that CSKA wouldn't want to cash in on him

Either way if he does not leave in this window his price will fall substantially and now imagine two options

    A) he gets injured and no one can buy him (wouldnt pass a medical) on the next transfer window = CSKA gets 0 €

    B) he gets sold in the winter transfer window but because his contract runs up unless he is sold he gets sold for peanuts

Now either way I would think that especially now that they wont see Europe competitions CSKA should sold him today, or they are doing some bad business

This is beyond my patience. Now 16 Japanese footballers play for EPL, Serie A, and Bundesliga teams but Japan's #1or2 player is still forced to stay in the Russian league? CSKA even failed to qualify for EL!

I HATE RUSSIA. NEVER MOVE TO THIS LEAGUE.

Next year he will become 27 years old... i dont think he will worth 16m anymore since he only can show his talents in Russia.... or International match.. :(

Come on it's Honda fault he chosen to go to CSKA. It's has nothing to do with Russian football unfortunately he make a huge mistake.

yeah agree or it would have been talked about already

but really strange for me personally.

Half a year ago loads was happening and Honda

    - had longer time on his contract
    - was coming back from injury

half a year later when his value has probably shrinked because of the shorter contract length, all seems quiet

One possible destination for him would have been Tottenham

Why? Because it is said that Van der Vart could be sold today to HSV
If that is true they could have used another AMC

Funny enough HSV would pay 12 mils € which is something around what CSKA would rate Honda's price to be right now

    come on for gods sake

its not like he is playing in some god forsaken league for a shit like club or better yet not playing at all

would you rather see him in Barcelona warming benches and cooking hot tea for everyone

    Seriously...

as for Inoha I said it at the moment the transfer was posted you can go back to the archive and check it. The croatian dude was all happy clappy about it and bitched about me saying negative stuff but in the end what happened?...

    Yeah..

As long as Honda plays in a club like CSKA there is no worries for him and if CSKA dont let him go he will be a free player not before long and clubs will literally fight for him as getting such a player for free is surreal

A year will pass by, he will help Japan to next World Cup played some more matches score some more goals

And like I said I seriously doubt that CSKA would let him run out his contract

he will extend it or get sold

I know, it's just disappointing to know that he wastes his time there. You know, playing against serious teams apart from Zenith helps developing better :/
