    Lol, Zac genius at putting in Hosogai and shifting Endo forward. Endo provides the winning assist!

    Honda gives Oman a lesson on falling down and then actually getting back up. :D

    Say what you want but I'll take a dirty win over Oman over a beautiful display on any given day.

    This was undeserved victory. I am not satisfied with the play

    But VERY satisfied with 3 points!

    This should settle it.

    Japan is heading to WC :thumbsup:

    Its Oman's first home loss in all of their qualifiers so far, so a good result in the end.

    just before the Confederation, sounds a good plan to get dead last. :D

    jokes apart, it could happen, I don't know. He made some turnover to play against Korea DPR after all

    Wow.. basically a robbery. But we take it like we can. So.. Nagatomo, Endo, Okazaki and Kiyotake well, good G. Sakai and Kiyotake.. the rest was unrealistic. I never have seen Honda playing this bad.

    WCqualification = 80% complete. I think one more victory and we're good to go.

    Now time for experiments, because we clearly need to find:
    - a striker or give Havenaar a real chance;
    - a change for Honda, so in days like these he can sit on the bench;
    - a central back. Konno and Yoshida make me tremble today.

    This.

    That said there is no improvement anymore, it's a bit worrying. I'm not even sure they are able to deliver those beautiful displays anymore.

    Honestly, Honda was going to be a bit out of it going from Russian weather to Oman weather.

    Japan's worst game in three years ? Happy with the result, but in all honesty, the win was undeserved. The team really needs some fresh blood, especially in attack, I would like to see more youngsters from the Olympic squad, Nagai in particular should be given a chance. The defense wasn't reassuring either.

    -Havenaar has been given multiple chances to succeed. Quite frankly, I'd take morimoto/maeda/Sato/ishikawa over him any day.
    -We have plenty of Attacking mids that can take honda's place. I'd like to see Yoshiaki Takagi called up soon.
    -CB's are fine, had an off day. One bad game and you guys are ready to throw people under the bus, ridiculous. Yoshida is the future of our Defense period.

    Okazaki and Nagatomo were impressive, never stopped running at full speed.

    Ended up praying for the ball to go out so Takahashi wouldn't be stranded on the sidelines again...another 25 second cameo.

    Lee hasn't scored many goals but I really hope he gets some playing time and recalled to JNT. Right now up front Zach only considers Maeda, a bit of Havenaar and then no one else.
