Kiyotake takes the ball in the midfield 1 pass to Nagai, who races and wins a 50/50 challenge with the GK who slamps into his won player and then Nagai is the only one left standing to tap it in...seems to be hurting now.

Nagai looks like he should be ok, I didn't see much in that initial challenge.

That f*cking egypt defender deserves a f*cking card, next time a defender will crush on an attacker like he did referee will let the game go on w/o any card? That's absurd.

Actually Japan risks to lose his better fw for this quarter final, semi-final and final! F*CK IT!

I have no idea what the injury could be, his left legged is wrapped, I didnt see much. Unless he strained his hamstring or quad getting to the ball. The play after the goal there was cntact but it didnt look harsh.

The impact could have done hell to his standing leg as he kicked the ball. Anyway, it looks serious, could be the end of the tournament for him really.

This is so unfair. I really hope they finished this match with 3/4 goals on to overwhelm this f*cking Egypt squad of dirty bucthers.

They look in shock now since Nagai left, Egypt are doing a better job of keeping the ball...but Japan doesnt have the same energy and speed and commitment. They couldnt have expected it to be that easy...

This is where a 3rd overage player to put up front would be useful.

Egypt possessing the ball more, going into turtle mode and really missing Nagai and his speed up top.

Please tell me: why this is not a brutal tackle from behind that deserves a yellow card or a red card with the aggravating that the game was stopped (after the goal)?
If Nagai had hit the post (than no goal than no game stopped) the referee wouldn't do anything about that tackle from behind (it was at least a pk plus red card)? That's frankly absurd.

Now one of the stronger team of the tournament lost his better fw and none do anything to punish the bastard who caused it.

Whatever it is they are not doing good. And they don't have the ability to hit a long ball forward and expect someone to catch up to it. Another dangerous ball into the box by Egypt as I say this.
