And the Rattlers F.C are charged the hightest price in the West and thats in either league USL or NPSL. Shame but the team doesn't own or control the Antelope Valley High School District. Look for a change in the team, coming from the USL they where geared for May start of the season due to the number of College and ITC players that have not been cleared.
Everyone's team changes when the College guys are out. Should be the end of the week for spring season.

It was an away game, but I think it was 5,000. Haha We all followed them up there. Yea.. thats it yea.......
Another Hollywood United victory today, 7-0 over the Bay Area Ambassadors. Hat trick for Rene Corona, two for Brent Whitfield, one each for Jose Miranda and Jerry Espinoza - and we missed a PK! We have now scored 30 goals in our last five games (3-0, 4-0, 11-0, 5-3 and 7-0), and conceded only 3, all to Boca. Just have to hope that Hasental does us a favor next week, otherwise Flash will get the US Open Cup slot.
Congrats on your win! Sorry about the Open spot, but I am for Flash. Both teams are showing well and either team would do well in the open cup.
San Diego Flash Breaking News! Fox Soccer Channel is coming to cover the San Diego Flash Pro Soccer Club match this Sunday! Because we are on the brink of qualifying for the US Open Cup, their TV crew with Keith Costigan will be at our match this weekend! Maybe you should be too!!
More breaking news: I'm hearing that Flash are going to be docked 6 points for fielding an ineligible player in two of their games, which will give Hollywood the US Open Cup slot. Anyone know any more details about this?
Where are you hearing it from? You seem to know more than anyone else and there isn't any information out there on this other than your posts...
I'd rather not say *exactly* who it is right now, because I don't want the person who told me to get in trouble, but I got a txt from a PR person I trust who was included on an NPSL e-mail blast which went out this morning informing everyone of the issue. The e-mail might be in my personal inbox too, but I won't be able to check it until I get home tonight.
I honestly don't know. I assume there is *some* sort of process, but I don't know what it entails or how it works. We're new to the NPSL ourselves this season, and have never had a reason to look at it before. In any case, any appeal would have to be done pronto, because it could affect Flash's preparations for the Sacramento game this weekend.
Well unless it's a key player on Flash who is being accused I'm not sure how much of an impact on prep it would have. You play to win, or you play to win are really the only options and until cleared sit the player who is allegedly ineligible.
Here's confirmation: http://www.soccernation.com/sd-flash-penalized-by-npsl-forced-to-forfeit-two-matches-cms-1225
Look like they're appealing. Good for the Flash. Hopefully they succeed. It seems ridiculous that a contract signed by a player and then repudiated by that player would be basis a year later for him to still not be able to play for Flash. Particularly if it was an innocent mistake as well.
The contract would have be torn up by the team. Typically what happens in England is that the player is placed in a situation similar to what happens when a player retires before a contract expires. The player isn't paid, but his rights remain with that team until the existing contract expires. If someone changes his mind about retirement and returns before the end of that contract, he must go back and play for the team he retired from, or find a way his new team to compensate the old team. As I said in another thread, it happens pretty regularly around the world. Search "fielding an ineligible player" in google and check the results. It almost always ends up in the team forefitting the games that said player played in whether they played 90 minutes or 90 seconds, done with intent or not. Bottom line is, wait for the clearance to come. You are playing russian roulette if you don't. Eventually something is going to bite you in the behind.
Looks like Flash's appeal failed, as the NPSL have now officially updated the standings: http://www.npsl.info/schedules/2011/35503834.20114.html The two games (Flash vs Hollywood, Flash vs Bay Area) have now been changed to 3-0 wins for Hollywood and Bay Area... Flash deducted 6 points, Hollywood and Bay Area given an additional 3 points each, and goal differences have been adjusted accordingly too.
This happened last year in the Southeast division. Birmingham Pumas played an ineligible player in their first game against Rocket City United, it was originally a 1:1 draw. The league changed the result to a 3:0 win for RCU. Moral of the story... WAIT FOR THE ITC!!!
