I've had it from this team, ive ********ing had it! This is ********ing bullshit, just complete and utter bullshit. what a choke, what a ********ing collapse. How is this poissible luongo? You're more ********ing unstable and inconsistent than a ********ing nuclear powerplant in japan, you just had to open your mouth againt thomas the past few days, and now look what happened. You choked harder then a pornstar, 3 goals in 2 minutes. ********ing pathetic. i almost want to sacrifice my life to some God for the Canucks to comeback and win today only for you to sit on the bench like a retard while everyone else lifts the cup. Raymond is injured, ********ing great, hes currently in the hospital, and with samuellson injured whose next? Tambellini? Are you ********ing kidding me? Hodgson? Our gem of a prospect who after leading the world juniors in scoring had 2 seasons of back surgery after back surgery, ********, it just juxtapositions the canucks franchise as a whole. Congrats Boston, the cup is won. Game 7? H sedin and Kesler are done, its so obvious just watching them after every light hit. Higgins has dried up, the third line cant keep saving the day. Luongo chokes again while Thomas builds more confidence, in a game 7 where anything can happen this is only good for Boston whose players will be playing with confidence after the 3 consecutive blowouts in B-town. I want to believe, I want too so ********ing badly it almost hurts. But I cant, not anymore. Chicago, we came back after squandering a 3 game series lead to slay the dragon, we just cruise past Nashville and San Jose....the Sedins combined for 20 points in those 5 games vs SJ. San jose, the best team in the league the second half of the season, beating them in 5 was big, catapulting us into the finals. Then 2 heartbreaking losses for Boston in well fought games at home, we had them, had them down and out and feeling bad, we had a great first period in gfame 3, outshooting them 12-7 in the first and dominating the last 10 minutes of thast first period. Then what happens? Implosion. Just pure and simple ass ********ing implosion. This team just doesnt learn, chicago, games 3/4......you'd think this wouldnt be possible. 4 goals in 3 minutes in the first period..... but this is the canucks, they always kick you in the balls when you expect a **************. -Luongo inconsistent fail again -Hamhuis, best dman out, and samueelsson injured..now raymond out, no one else to put in -Thomas on fire again today - Boston full of confidence - Bostons best players playing like their best players, Sedins/Kesler again cant score(just hit the post and missed an open net). = Boston wins game 7 It will probably be a more crushing defeat then when I was just a 5 year old kid in 94. ******** Luongo, you better take another walk along the seawall before game 7. You need to steal this, its our only hope. Find your game somehow, someway, pray to the greek ********ign Gods for all I ********ing care, just get your mojo back for June the 15th because if not, the Lucic will bring the cyp to killarney highschool. ******** ******. I've ****** HAD IT YOU HEAR ME?!?! ***** *****
LMAO at AREA 51's rant, one of the best displays of raw forlorn emotion I've ever witnessed on this forum. "They always kick you in the balls when you expect a **************" That was classic comedy, I'm nicking that. I don't even have the heart to take the piss out of the Canucks after reading that, the anger leading into hopelessness was depressing Thomas looks impenetrable.
Whatever you do, when Pierre McGuire gives you cool aid, don't drink it. By the way, you're welcome Canada for the comcast merger that keeps Pierre here full time.
If the Bruins win game 7, the entire city might pull an Okinawa and collectively kill itself. It will also confirm the pacific northwest as the worst sports region in the world.
since the end of the 1st period my cable went out, Ive been flipping back and forth on myp2p between anything that will work, if this game was closer I would be rfreaking out
The police better be out in force that day, I fear the long overdue seismic fault line along that area of the ring of fire will implode if they lose. Anarchy might arise from the embers when it's all said and done, I shit you not. It's twice as intense there as it was during the olympic knockout rounds. Luongo might be run out of town, he probably should have some helicopter transport ready on top of GM Place just in case he chokes again. I find it hard to remember any other "star" goalie whose so horrendously inconsistent. This is also the most bizzare sporting event series I've ever witnessed. The Jekyll and Hide performance is unheard of.
Here is how the series has gone. Every game has started tight and even. Neither team really had an edge. Then the decision came, would Luongo play well? 3 times yes. Will he suck? 3 times yes. When he plays like Dan Cloutier Vancouver has absolutely no chance at all Scneider has to start. He won't and I'm saying it now, congrats to Boston. Good thing Luongo is signed for tens more years at 6 million per cap hit. Not to mention $10 million in actual salary.
I agree. I've never seen home ice/field/court matter so much before. I really didn't think that Luongo would have been this bad but Boston was on a role in that first period. 19 goals at home? Unreal. And the B's have played well enough in Vancouver to have won one of those games. Wednesday should be nuts.
wooooo it felt good to get that fanrage out All I will say is that the Bruins have worn the Canucks down with their physicality and forcheck, things dont look good for wednesday. Edler left in the third, Hamhuis already hurt, the Sedins getting beat on every shift, Kesler a non factor, the Canucks don't seem to have anything left to give. On the other hand, bar Rome's hit on Horton, I dont think the Canucks have worn anybody from Boston down, thus they are able to play on the edge and push the envelope. And with the Canucks getting intimidated and flat footed, it allows Boston to impliment their style of game which is so effective at home. Odds are one of these times they will be able to bring it on the road, so all this "Canucks are great at home" straws that everyone is grasping doesnt inspire confidence in me. In the end Luongo HAS to start, he's the guy the GM and the coach ride, he's the guy that got them into this mess, and he's the guy that needs to get them out of it. He's on contract for another 10 years, so if he doesn't start game 7 in the stanley cup final where does that leave the management and franchise? Game 7 is his chance at redemption and to prove everyone wrong(again...never thought I'd say this after game 7 versus Chicago) The Sedins were a lot better today and created all sort of chances, but the finish isn't there, and it needs ot be found fast. With Kesler a non factor all of a sudden, Raymond out injured(some analysts dont like the hit, ill need to see the replay but i know he got pushed into the boards in a highly vunerable position with no puck around, but it looked a fairly innocent hit with a guy just finishing a check), the Sedins need to bring it big time. The third line on its own can't win a stanley cup, especially with fluctuating goaltending.
Rumors that Raymond is out for 4-6 months with a back injury, hope he recovers fast and well because back injury are serious injury. Some players career been ruined with serious back injury.
The hit was pretty much Boychuk wanting to put the hurt on the guy early in the game. No different than 90% of these late message sending checks that are supposedly finishing their check. Raymond was just in a weird position.
Couldn't agree more. Complete tossers! lol Great rant! Personally I think the goalkeepers were the difference in game 6, nothing more than that. VCR played well apart from that 5 minute span too. That should be a boost for game 7 which VCR will win.
Interesting fact, Luongo has surrendered fewer goals in Vancouver than Thomas has in Boston. The other side of that coin we all know about. Boston has to score in Vancouver to win, and they've provided scant evidence of being able to do that thus far. I expect a close game either way.
If Boston can score a early goal on Roberto I think their chances to win with be a lot better. Game 5 they couldn't get that break through early, Roberto made a few good saves and got comfortable and that was it. Prediction - Van 3 - Bos 1
Well, that wasn't Luongo's fault at least. Anyway, it's basically confirmed, Boston is the best sports market in the country (in terms of being a fan, because your team wins) and the Pacific Northwest (I'm counting Seattle, Vancouver and Portland together) is officially the worst.
2nd European captain to win the cup. Class act player Zdeno Chara, couldn't go into better hands. Class act Vancouver fans, cheering the Cup and booing Bettman ahaha. Thomas getting an ovation and deservedly the Conn Smyth.
The boos for Bettman were hysterical and deafening. Not sure I've ever heard boos that loud and sustained. Great moment when Lucic lifted the cup. Overall, having not seen much of Vancouver in the regular season, it looked to me like Boston was the deeper, better team over the 7 games. I get that people who know hockey way better than I do were pretty sure of the opposite heading into the series, so it's weird. Just a matchup problem? Slumping/tired team? Savard back next year, and Marchand and Seguin growing up quickly, I like the Bruins a lot going forward too. Great to see Recchi go out that way. (Though I kinda hated him as a Flyer)
Congrats to Boston! They played the better hockey throughout the series and shown it in game 7. Glad to see Kabby get a ring and Thomas get what he deserves. Interesting fact about Boston during the end was the fact their make-up of their club was 13 players through trade, 4 were free agents, and 5 were draft picks (mostly 2nd rounders). Who says you can't win the cup without building through the draft
