To briefly recap this event, the Men's team lost all their group matches (USA Men - Dominican Republic 22:27 USA Men - Argentina 19:36 USA Men - Mexico 32-33). They also lost the 5/8 placement match (USA Men - Canada 25:26), but won the 7/8 placement match (USA Men - Venezuela 39:25 (7th Place)). The Women's team lost all their matches so they got 8th Place.
