Agreed. It also lacks any soul which the old stadium had oozing out the seams.

Due to some unfortunate work responsibilities cancelling a weekend trip to the Cape, I looked on Stub Hub this am and got me some tickets to Sunday's Phils/Mets game in the lovely Promenade Club Section.

Any of you bitches wanna wine and dine me?

Irony. I'm actually off to the cape this weekend.

    Just beat the Yankees, ok?

Not that it matters, but this synopsis of today's game from the Ledger was pretty funny (or sad), especially Pagan's injury:

NEW YORK – It’s the final Sunday of the Mets season. Four games remain. They’ve won three in a row, and if they win out, they will improve on last season’s 79-83 record.

    What else is going on?

    1. Headaches continue to rack Lucas Duda, and Terry Collins indicated that he has the symptoms of a concussion. That is not the official diagnosis, but it does not sound.

“Lucas is unchanged,” Collins said. “I’ll be surprised if he plays again this year.”

    2. Angel Pagan? He’s still got symptoms related to whacking himself in the head with a bat last week. So it’s doubtful he’ll be back this year, too.

    3. And Jason Bay is still suffering from a sinus infection. He will visit a doctor again tomorrow, and hopefully be prescribed a new round of antibiotics.

    4. And David Wright has the day off. Which means . . . Willie Harris is batting third.

    5. Bobby Parnell will get the chance to close today. Of course, Roy Halladay is pitching for the Phillies. So. Yeah.

Agree it was the right move. The whole team seems to like Terry and I like the way he manages. Sandy needs to get him picthing next year and a big bat for the middle of that lineup

Jose Reyes is the NL batting champ. Went 1-1 on a bunt single and than was taken out of the game. 1st ever Met to win the batting title.

Sadly this maybe the last time we see Jose in a Mets uniform.

I'll kill him if he signs with the Phillies in the offseason to replace Jimmy Rollins. If he doesn't come back to us than he needs to go to the AL or the west coast

If Rollins goes to S.F. the talk is that Phillies will make run at Reyes.

And just cause I'm a bitter Mets fan with nothing to root for...HAHA, nice choke by Bankee$ and Phailures!!
