There is a thread for that sorta nonsense Matt. And it misses your sassy talk.

Am I gonna see any of you assholes at the ballpark on Sunday?

There are three people in the world I'd feel sorry for if Reyes got traded. You, otter, and Reyes himself. Everyone else can go ******** themselves. Trade him far far away, preferably the American League, somewhere the Phillies don't need to pitch to him.

    .500!

Not bad for a Triple A club + Jose Reyes.

Anyone who could make this good of a deal deserves to own the Mets.

Similarly, this is also typical Fred. This is only slightly worse than the Bonilla deal for them.

    Mr. Met is a stud.

Then again you can't mess with any of the mascot holy trinity

    Mr. Met
    The Phanatic
    The SD Chicken

    They all have game.

The Mets are in the middle of the following stretch. Rangers, Tigers, Yankees, Dodgers, Giants, Phillies. That's 5 of 6 first place teams all in a row. Nuts.

Not bad winning the first two series on the road in dominating fashion. It's uptown's turn starting tonight!

I like the tune for the most part but it's easy to mock "Meet the Mets/Meet the Mets, step right up and beat the Mets." And for the majority of seasons that has sadly been the case.

Anyone know what happened to twirling arms lady from the 80s? G*ddamn she was annoying

No Wright. No Santana. No Davis. No Reyes.

    No problem.

    I love this team.

It's going to be today or tomorrow and they will announce he is going on the DL. He can't even test his hammy out and with the all star break coming up, they will put him on the 15 day DL.

It's the safe move. God knows this team hasn't handled injuries well the past few years. With the ridiculous season he's been having, be as damn safe as possible.

Reyes is on the 15-day DL. The Mets called up utility infielder Nick Evans from Triple-A Buffalo.
