About Yuki, I completely agree. She had a "mind" problem for sure. She should close her blog down !

Very gracious defeat speech. She would have been quite justified to talk differently about the game, so it's nice she said that.

Yeah, I saw someone go right over, wasn't sure who it was.

I was going nuts that I probably didn't notice, but which was Iwabuchi's big play?

In the end we had 53% possession according to FIFA which surprised me a bit. On the other hand we had no chance in hell of drawing it out without possession so maybe I should be saying well done for 2 goals despite onlly 53% but intuitively it felt like the US had more than we did.

It was the 121st minute set-piece, when Iwashimizu was red-carded (which was complete nonsense by the way, and Morgan was diving).

The set-piece was meant to look like a shot, instead it was a fast pass to the left corner post, where Wambach and one other USA player (Tobin?) were supposed to poke it in. If you watch the replay, the only DF there was Iwabuchi (!) and her challenge made all the difference.

Dont ask me where Kinga was. She gave me pain all day

lol don't be so harsh I thought she had her moments. Nagasato is the only one who lingers in my mind right now as she would have lingering thoughts for a long while. Sasaki was right about the reasons he gave to omit her and I kinda wanted her to come back from it.

Yes, can someone please post some video of the celebrations in Japan?

For some stupid reason CNN international has that video blocked but there must be a feed somewhere.

Japan was superhuman yesterday. One of the 2 greatest soccer games I've seen and the other one was a men's game.

I want to see Yabecchi FC's montage of Japan's tournament. They did a pretty cool one with the AC11 tournament win.

So epic considering in Sawa's first FWWC, Japan lost to germany 1-0, lost to Sweden 2-0, then destroyed by USA 4-0. Now within her career these have turned around to 1-0, 3-1, 2-2(3-1) respectively.

Sc-f thanks but the first video was removed by the user. Karolb's first video (the 14 minute) was removed too! What a joke!

    Anyone have viewable versions?

Can someone please translate what the fans are saying in the 2nd video sc-f posted?

    Nice, Hachiko!

Your Nadeshiko-girl is much better than the official one by the Captain Tsubasa-artist... (who looks like Tsubasa with a ponytail :D)
