If someone (I don't) has the time, it might be interesting to see a comparison between the new MLS Castrol Performance Index (player ratings) and our salaries. I noticed Simms was one of the best performers on the team.
Jakovic and Fred made the top ten in something! Unfortunately it was the top 10 overpaid players in mls. Jaqua and Ekpo? Are you serious? That's robbery. I haven't really looked at other rosters, or follow anything about another team, so I'll have to take their word for it. No Ngwenya though.
Good conversation starters, that's about it. Given the Calvinball rules in the league, I never really believe the "salary" figures. I didn't then and don't believe now that Lindpere's annual compensation from Red Bull is anywhere near to what his official "salary" is.
