Congrats on getting the olympic gold medal winning CB Diego Reyes in June. I hope he does well for you. Just wanted to know who are your cb's that he'll be competing with?

I haven't seen this guy play so hopefully he turns out good, we have Maicon, Otamendi, Mangala and Abdoulaye... plus Rolando as CBs and they are all quality players.. Maicon and Mangala would be my ideal pairing but Maicon has been hurt for a while.

I hear he can play DM as well, which could use a bit of reinforcing in case Fernando was hurt.

What do you Porto fans think of Juan Iturbe? He is rumored to be coming to my club... I see he has barely played at Porto, but he was really hyped a few years ago when he was called the "Messi Guarani"

Do you think Porto will let him go? Do the fans/directors still have faith that he can contribute one day?

I must admit I know little of Iturbe, but I hope he can come to River. I think his struggles are more of a result of Porto's new policy of buying younger players and Argentina's flailing economy that forces us to sell players younger.

If you look at the past Porto and the players Porto got from Argentina: Lucho Gonzalez had spent 3 full seasons at River and 6 total in primera division since he had been at Huracan for 3 seasons before that. He had won 3 league championships with River and was a full international with Argentina, already having played the copa america and olympic games

Falcao was 23 and had been in the River first team since he was 18. He was also a league champion in 2008 and a full colombian international

James Rodriguez was younger, but he had already been a league champion with banfield, the only time in their history.

Otamendi had been champion with Velez and had played a world cup, even if it was out of position.

So what do you think of Iturbe? Do you think you'll let him go? Do you think he can come good for Porto in the future?

Iturbe has talent but it doesn't look like anyone at Porto is convinced yet. Porto isn't afraid to put young player on the starting lineup but we can't afford to put flops playing either. Iturbe has been crying a lot lately so it's probably best that he leaves while people still remember him. If he stays, he has to suck it up and continue to train until the coach has confidence in him.

Hi guys, porto has accepted the loan offer for Rolando, i know that he was out of the team for contract issue
be objective, is Rolando a good defender nowadays?napoli plays with 3-4-2-1 with 3 defenders and 2 side midfielder.

Rolando goes back and forth. Two years ago under AVB as coach, he was fantastic, a real shutdown CB. Last year under VP as coach, he really struggled. He didn't see a minute of action with us this year. So in short, he has the ability to be a very quality starter, just depends on the situation.
