I'm still laughing at Arsenal losing 8-2. I don't care if they stole Arteta (and I don't blame him) ... that was still funny.

And Spurs bottom of the table! :D

And to you Red Shite fans ... don't worry, the Blue side ain't going to be relegated!

Yeah, Chelsea looks like a decent side this year. As for those Toffee Bastards, maybe they can pick up enough draws against Norwich, WBA, and Swansea to finish 17th. I wouldn't bet the house on it, though

I knew I was expecting too much from you Liverpool fans to expect creativity. ;)

Well, it's a little harder to be creative in attacking a team who just sold off all their players. Sorry for not keeping track of the Everton U-16 squad so that I could properly insult you after you had traded in any European hopes you had for cold hard cash

And when you finish really close to Everton in the standings just like last year, having spend millions and millions more ... it'll be even funnier. :D

Are you trying to act snooty and indignant because only one side of Stanley Park actually spends any money? Maybe you can wait until you finish ahead of us (not 'close' but actually more points). And, well, the last time you did that, Michael Parkhurst was MLS' bright new rookie sensation

Should be a good year ahead. The difference between the clubs from a fan's perspective is ambition and expectations. Everton are a good middling club, with a solid team once every decade or so, but not much more. However, I do hope the bitters make a run this year and grab scalps from Arsenal, Chelski, Spurs the mancs etc. It will put you in better position to battle for a Europa spot and us in better position to lockdown a Top 4 spot (and maybe even win the league). :D

Sadly I can't disagree (about the ambition part). Just desperately hoping they can find a new owner.

I will say that one team I'm pretty sure won't be going down (outside the regulars obviously) is QPR. They definitely went out and had themselves a good time at the window.

I hope so too Monty. We've seen the damage of poor owners at LFC so wouldn't wish that on Everton's supporters or almost anyone else (besides the mancs of course), even if you have all had a good laugh at our expense thanks to G&H the past few years.

It would be great to make the Merseyside Derby really meaningful in the standings, not just for bragging rights.

The game against the Blue Shite is important in the standings. We need those 6 points to qualify for Europe, they need those 6 points to finish ahead of WBA

I think that fact that I knew exactly what you were going to write and I still came here to take it is a Noble Endeavor. We blew a huge game to a shit team. Please, rain down your insults.

It'll only make it that much sweeter when we finish ahead of your beloved Blue Shite

Don't worry, Monty. If you pool all your resources (recently liquidated for your convenience) and try really hard, Everton can still qualify for Europe...

If they win the Carling Cup

    Yep, still laughing. :D

See I know Everton's going to have a tough year. But I also know that we didn't spend millions upon millions of bucks ... just to lose 4-0 to Spurs. :D

John Henry has decided to spend millions of dollars and have his teams absolutely shit the bed this year. Just to see what it feels like

Well, at least 2 of his 4 NASCAR teams made the playoffs

My venom was already used up on that scum-sucking, kitten killing, puppy flaying, baby eater Martin Atkinson.

I don't know what you're talking about. The red card was retroactively declared null. For all intents and purposes, it didn't happen
