Inter agreed a permanent deal with Cesena (Around 8,5 Million Euro plus loan of some youngsters to Cesena)

I think Nakata had THE most expensive transfer of an asian (followed by Harry Kewell), but Nakata's was give or take 20 million.

    What the hell...

First Kagawa and Honda, and now Nagatomo? Nagatomo should stay with Inter and Kagawa with Borussia, Honda could think about a move to PSG

It's never going to happen so don't worry.

These dudes aren't thinking about a huge payday yet.....

Maybe when they're in their 30's or something

That's based on nothing. French clubs cannot give huge paydays anyway, even PSG.

They were bought by a Qatari group so I'm pretty sure they can pay huge wages like Man City.

These dudes were thinking about buying Man U, so they have money and lots of it.

I'm pretty sure they can't. They don't work like the royal family of Abu Dhabi, they aren't going to burn a lot of money. The first two recruits were a good french player and a goalkeeper who was free.
French taxes are high so it's hard to give huge salaries.

These dudes want to win in the hopes that it gives Qatar a good name before the World Cup.

They will spend money to achieve this.

To a certain extent. And they aren't going to give huge salaries. They aren't going to be MCity 2.

We are talking about a 5 million salary for Leonardo...It gives a hint about the future investments at PSG.

As for Nagatomo there are 10 new rumors everyday and this one probably comes from the fact that Leonardo was coaching Inter Milan. To give you an idea there has been : Ganso, Lucas, Park Chu-young, Kagawa, Honda, Izaguirre, Menez, Borriello, Doni, Ochoa, Kaka, Varane, Fernando, Martin, Gervinho, Ancelotti, Benitez offering his services to PSG and I forgot a lot of them. Between speculation, rumors, agents noise, it's hard to tell what's true or not especially since Qatar will officialy be at PSG on 30th june. Everything will be clearer by then.

Gasperini is the new manager. I keep reading this guy plays 3-4-3. Is that true?

Yeah, I actually saw some article on Sponichi (?) that quoted an Italian newspaper as saying that Nagatomo might get frozen out of the team because he's not skilled at playing in a 3-back formation. This was accompanied by delusion on the part of some of FCT's supporters that maybe he'd come back if that was the case >_>

Criscito joins Zenit, so atm no new competition for Nagatomo.

It's very bad news for Nagatomo... even Maicon is likely to be moved on because he doesn't fit that system, and Nagatomo is far down the pecking order from him. To hold down the left mid slot in a 3-4-3, he will have to up his possession game and his play in the middle third. He is great in the defensive and attacking thirds, as a fullback should be, but there are way more responsibilities to build the play and maintain the shape as the left side mid in a 3-4-3.

I actually like Gasperini a lot tactically, although he has taken jobs for the teams I hate most in Serie A. It will certainly be interesting. I'm rooting for a spectacular failure, where Inter plays very entertaining soccer, but loses often.
