Herrmann has a broken collarbone, so Leckie was subbed in (38th) and subbed off (82nd), because he sucked so much. Therefore Otsu might get a few minutes as a sub in the upcoming weeks.

... which means Otsu won't be released.

That's what I thought, has BMG gone and said they need him now?

Bugger, and those morons who run Bayern have such a thin squad that they must have Usami on the bench even though they don't intend to use him at any point.

I think he will (he might be even a starter if we don't pull Reus back from attack to the right wing). If not, I'm getting seriously confused.

I find it quite respectable of Favre that he subs Otsu in with BMG not winning comfortable.

Edit: Looking up Otsu always comes on when Gladbach is in trouble.

Unfortunately, he didn't get any playing time since the Hamburg match. Pretty weird in my eyes. It seems that he's tactically/physically not good enough for Favre/the BL yet. Really a pity, as I rate him a lot in technical aspect.

I'm curious whether he'll get a new chance next season (when we also play in Europe) after being better integrated (it's not easy to communicate when you don't speak any German) or whether he's leaving us.

After all, Yuki had some fun at the home season farewell party last Saturday (he chanted "VfB" instead of "VfL" :D ). ;)

Probably because the manager doesn't want to change a winning team, and he still might be too inconsistent.

He's looked pretty sharp during the Olympic qualifiers though.

    no...

Why the heck wont he get a decent chance at Monchengaldbach, Reus is gone now, try him out
Hope he kicks ass at the Olympics and gets his chance

Though I doubt it, he is a good player but not a great one and you need to be great to play in Bundesliga for CL type of club

Also Aberdeen FC is a club who finished 8th in Scots Championship that like if he would to sign for Montedio Yamagata or something of that sort (probably even downgrading Mountain Goods by saying this)

Indeed, I don't think he can play for Monchengladbach right now, they're really strong and there seems to be no place for him, so a loan would be ok imho if he could pull off an Hosogai, but... Aberdeen? =|

Gladbach signed fw Mlapa (U21 Germany), fw Hrgota (U19 Sweden) and are in talks for Luk De Jong or Hoilett. Selling Reus doesn't necessarily mean that they just put it on a bank account and promote Otsu to the first 11.

Now, this news has been about potential interest in a loan deal, not about that Otsu wants to go to Scotland. I doubt he goes anyway, as he seems to be happy to have the Japanese community (Yasuda, Ucchi, Tese) around.

    London challenge with a twist.

Even though he didn't do that well I'm still amazed that he managed to hit the one in the middle.

Haha, great stuff. He did extremely well considering the difficulty of a chalenge and he seems like a really nice guy also. Now I definitely want him on the Olympic team :p

As long as he gets playing time, I'm OK with this.

It's an interview where the interlocutor responds to to a given questien. Hence the train of thought that leads to a conclusion that Ebert was talking about Otsu and Frankfurt.
