Straining my eye to read that blurry photo it comes off the back of the medical check he's getting by Borussia MG so provided that you believe that part of the story this is probably true but again this is media we love and hate so oh what the hey. Best if we can get it verified from Germany really as he's physically there in the country or so it claims.

Atalanta would have been a little bit better in my opinion, but going to a club with low expectations is not a bad idea.

This excerpt is all I found in the net.

It says that he will get a a week long medical check due to his history of injuries. But as he is fit there will probably no further obstacle.

That's the last paragraph in that photo so that's the same source. It also says below the headline that he's on the ground at the club and that's easy enough to verify for the local media so we better wait for an external source. I have no reason to doubt this as this transfer makes sense but we're heading into another media merry go around so call me cynical.

I remember that too. Before the WC 2006 or afterwards I dont recall but I remember being dissapointed he didn't go.
