No, the player to keep us out of relegation is Fabrice Muamba in a 4-5-1 formation. We can score goals, the problem is that we conceed far too many. We're a more solid team all round when Muamba plays as part of a 5 with Mark Davies in the middle. If we become more solid and it allows the likes of Davies and Miyaichi to attack more then that can only be a good thing. Holden's not an offensive player. His importance lies in his ability to run, tackle, pass accurately and keep possession. We've also seen the massive decline of Kevin Davies and Jussi as well as the loss of Sam Ricketts for the first half of the season. Not with 4 goals and six assists he didn't.
Didn't he get named Bolton player of the year? Don't rlly think its all about the stats tbh. He's good at keeping possession and a lot of attacks started from him. Just my thoughts.
Wow, great control, composure, and vision shown there by Ryo in that little clip. Plus the finishing touch on the pass. The guy is lighting up the EPL, he can definitely do some good on the National team at this stage in his career.
I hope he will stay another year at Bolton. He seems to have found his dimension to raise his potential..
Good game by Miyaichi, that assist showed another dimension to his game Ive haven't seen before. Weird celebration by Klasnic as well.
Muamba collapsed on the pitch with no players close to him. Medical staff have attempted to resuscitate him but it is not clear whether they have been successful. Muamba has been taken to hospital and the match has been abandoned. Muamba is reported as fighting for his life.
The BBC and The Guardian are quoting the hospital directly, to the effect that Muamba is in a critical condition.
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tSfsdviPNU"]Ryo Miyaichi????????? 2012 ???? HD - YouTube[/ame] It's nothing remarkable but I must say I'm amazed he challenged and beat Taye Taiwo several times. Taiwo is one of the most imposing men I have ever met, he's very fast, unbelievably strong and agressive. and he used to be good at football ... a long time ago.
Miyaichi starting today against Blackburn, big relegation match. I hope he (And the rest of the club) can do their bit on the field after one of the most difficult weeks one can imagine.
