He faded a bit in the 2nd and was replaced when he got tired (and it showed). So any complaints it might be stamina, and maybe he'd do well to come a bit narrower in the play from time-to-time to help the bolton build up play more. Actually come to think of it, the very things he needs to work on here are things that would improve well with a bit of time with the JNT if called up for the squad against Uzbekistan.
http://www.nikkansports.com/soccer/world/news/p-sc-tp3-20120220-906318.html The goal prompted Pixi to mention to the press that he's still angry about Wenger 'stealing' Miyaichi: "That's a yellow card!"

http://www.jsports.co.jp/press/article/N2012022418170802.html Columnist at Jsports writes about the abuse Miyaichi got against Millwall. Apparently people chanted "DVD" when he touched the ball (because Asians are going around pubs selling pirated DVDs). Intelligent species, but not sure if those got lost in earlier stages of the evolution?
Frustrating game for both teams, Bolton has little possesion of the ball and Chelsea cant break down the defense. Needless to say Miyaichi hasnt seen much of the ball. Ive counted maybe 5 touches, none of them meanigful. But he did have a shot at goal at the end of the half that he sent over the crossbar. Probably Boltons only and best chance of the game.
man ... watching some of these guys I'm telling myself I missed a career. WTF Pratley, they do not have someone better on the bench ?
He had a couple good runs, one amazing one where he chipped the ball forward to himself and ran past 2 Chelsea defenders getting into the penalty area and attempted a pass to an offensive player on the back post. The pass was blocked but after that play the announcers were praising Miyaichi saying hes got skill and pace and raw ability and that hes a great young talent...something along those lines. He was kinda at fault for Chelsea's second goal for not clearing the ball hit near his post that he was defending on the corner(he stood outside of the post and the ball went inside the post for a goal). Though he saved a previous goal scoring opportunity while on the line. The corners he took were the best for Bolton(which isnt saying much) but were good for his standards. Decent game for him, the second half was much better than the first for Bolton...which sounds weird cus they gave up 3 goals.
Couldn't agree more... apart from staying outside the post, he has an okay game. Might be able to say one of the better player on the pitch... as for Bolton, apart from him and Bogdan, the others are burden
wow what a late tackle by Gary Cahill... He almost took his legs. EPL is filled with a lot of bad tacklers. It only gets worse against bad clubs. A decent amount of defenders try to scare players into challenges sometimes. Very impressive. I didn't expect him to kick the ball up that far. He basically said... "i challenge you to a race." i can't wait to see him and Lee Chung young play on their wings. Bolton will be very strong. Speed on one wing and craftiness on the other wing.
Miyaich with a shot on goal on the left side of the bv trying to curl it past Hart to the far right post, Hart finger tip save(good save).
http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm17147433 Highlights from ManCity game. Not bad. He should cut in and try shooting more though.
Bolton are incredibly bad. Hard to do anything there, he's not getting service and his teammates can't keep possession. It's going to be 3 painful months.
Meh, he might learn how to defend better in the meantime. Definitely better than 6 months in Arsenal reserves. Not all EPL sides are Man City, interested in seeing him against a weaker EPL side where Bolton may have the ball for longer than 40% of the time lol. His decision making needs to be a tad bit sharper, so he knows what he's going to do before the ball's at his feet. That'll probably come with a bit more experience, Man City with Bolton would've been his hardest opponent ever so far.
They're having a horrible year, but i can't believe that they could be relegated. They're far better than Wolverhampton, Wigan and Blackburn.
I don't think they are going to get relegated too. Bolton FC have better fixtures compared to the other teams. Miyachi is most likely going to be the player to keep them out of relegation. The problem is... they don't have a decent striker other then Klasnic... Ngog is terrible. They've played crappy this whole season b/c Stuart Holden and Lee Chung Yong were injured the entire season. Their two most important offensive players at the moment. Without these two players goals do not come easy. 2009 Lee Chung Yong basically saved them. 2010-11 they performed like a mid table club b/c of Daniel Sturridge (scoring goals) and w/ Johan Elmander helping out as well. Season 2011-12 they sold Elmander. And replaced him with David N'Gog. Add salt to their wounds. Winter Sell Gary cahill.
