Maybe Magath wanted some Asian Kungfu hustle from him :D

Magath said he chose Hasebe because Japanese are disciplined so they can play any poisiton.

So how was he as GK? he was GK from 80' and conceded a goal in the 85', from what the report showed. I just wonder if he was good in his position.

He didn't need to do any saves (other than the goal), he came out to catch a cross and came out to pick up a couple that strikers were running onto. He didn't do anything embarrassing, frankly had he tried to legitimately dive on that goal you wouldn't have known he wasn't a keeper (cause there wasn't much to do in the last 10)

Marco Russ was the first in line to wear the gloves, but apparently he hesitated. Hasebe did not.

I think it tells a lot about his position in the team. For me, he's the MoM

I think that he was emotionally scarred by his appearance in goal. I know I would be.

he's coming back from the thigh injury that kept him out of the last game, not too surprising that they keep him on the bench for a week.

Right-back... and having just watched it I must say he was a real destroyer on his side. His attacking runs were not great though.

Good. He didn't allow anything, blocked, intercepted and tackled (nearly) everything coming his way. But he was not good running forward. He could work on his crosses.

Sometimes i don't understand german media. They rated Hasebe very often as one of the worst players for the last month.Against Hamburg he get's the mark 4,5 and 6 is the worth.I don't think Hasebe is that bad,I have the feeling that he plays very "invisible" like every game and that's the reason but that doen't mean he is bad.

For Example Hosgai get's often the best marks and is one of the best Players so far at Augsburg on the same positon this season. Both play left/right back or sometimes as def. midlefielder. How can it be ?

I agree this is weird. Sometimes I think they don't even watch the games. I'm not talking about kicker specially but every paper or website that does this.

Yeah,I know....but is he since last season in a hole ? Or is this cause he is a very invisible player who scores or assited not so often ?

Every time when somebody watch the game ...he is saying that Hasebe was very good or solid but after marks he is one of the worst and I can't believe it.Sure he is not the best in the world but a great fighter on every position who makes him so value for every team.He is my favorite player,he never gives up and every time when Wolfsburg bought new Players he fight his spot back into the staring eleven:cool:.

The first 3 years in Wolfsburg he get's solid-good ratings but since last season most of the games they are very bad in compare to the games i see from him.

It's his fault that the offside trap didn't work but I would rather blame Josue and Thoelke who left Petric unmarked in this play. It's not a counter, the whole Wolfsburg-defence was behind the ball, and they were outplayed.

I'm always amazed to discover new players at every Wolfsburg game ... I didn't know "Chris" or Thoelke were playing there.
