Promotion or bust. First we have to take care of some no marks from Spain.

Mercedes-Benz Arena pretty much complete. For those that remember, the place once had a running track around the field. Now, it's a very legit stadium., with PLENTY of railings for banners :D

New numbers are going from 52,000 to 60,000. I have friendly banter with one German-born Bayern co-worker of mine, especially how drama queen Bayern and ex-Bayern players are :p But now it's Shickeria acting like queens over Neuer.

Shame Yeung is in trouble and you are going into administration this week. Starting the season with minus 10 points.

The Dons (not the impostors from Milton Keynes) are back in the league!!!!!

As far as how I came to follow the Dons (AFCW): I'm a Cleveland Browns fan and the Dons/MK mess had too many similarities to the Browns/Ravens mess for me to ignore. Simply put, it's a fan base I can understand.

My Everton is the only team in the EPL who has yet to bring in a player this summer. I mean either on a free, transfer, or loan. It's sad. Let the games begin so we can still run over the rest of the EPL.

Did you see the rumors of Johnson coming on loan from ManC ? Times must really be hard if that's our summer signing.

...like at Christmas when that wrapping paper is off and you think you just got a new PS3 but really grandma just filled the box with a homemade sweater.

Moyes is probably keeping an eye on the "EPL Manager - Help Wanted" section of newspaper.

Rumors mean nothing for an Everton FC fan. Honestly if a rumor is in the paper there is no chance it will happen. Moyes will likely get an 18 year from some second division (I am not complaining since we have a few who are coming good).

Plus Johnson's wages are way to high for us to begin with.

Well, wages can be figured out, look at Cardiff, I doubt they can afford bellamy - Man City must be subsidising?

Man City are probably just as keen to get people off their books due to the squad size regulation. Loaning a player on a contract is a good way but I doubt many teams could afford their wages, so they probably do pay a proportion?

I don't pretend to know Cardiff's financial situation so I wont speculate on how they afford Bellamy.

Kenwright (Everton owner) and the rest of the board has a very strict wage budget. We don't break it for anyone (pienaar). Man City does not care about wages as evident of what they overpay their players. If they were willing to loan Johnson and pay some of his wages and waive his loan fee then more than Everton would come calling. I think with him being British they will want to keep him on the roster. He will get Champions League games + Cup games+ some league games.

You would think Man City would want to loan out players because they have some many of them. They haven't loan a single first team or even someone close to the first team.

Man City just doesn't care about how much they lose.

I may be wrong but man I can see Villa having another bad year. McLeish + N'Zogbia + Given does not offset losing Young, Friedel and Downing.

It will be an interestring seson for them.

Just watched a bit of the Dublin Super Cup match between Celtic and Inter.

Wow, that Inter keeper Castellazi is good.

'wor' lil sister city booted Bayer Leverkusen out of the DFB Pokal Cup, coming back from a 3-0 deficit.

And btw, ole military brat GK flailing around back there might not be a starter too long for Leverkusen (even though his defense did let him down)
