On a team like Lierse I would say it's fantastic.

QPR would be a good move if the interest is real. He's certainly better than their current keepers and would be the no.1.

Udinese would be great. I'd be happy to see him every week on Serie A.

But for that to happen Handanovič woul have to go...

    And where will he go...?

He would only go to a bigger club and let us see

Manchester City - has a great GK
    MU - just got one
Arsenal - just got one is great
Chelsea - has a great keeper
Liverpool - has a great keeper
    Real madrid - great keeper
    Barcelona - great keeper
    Bayern - great keeper
    Lyon - great keeper

and than we are slowly but surely running out of clubs who are that much better than Udinese that Samir would even want to go, not to mention that they would have to pay a hefty sum for him (imo about 15-20 mils€)

So they only other options i possibly see him are

    Milan
    Inter
Juventus (but buffon is still very much in buisness)

So do you have any ideas?

Yeah it is hard to imagine he would leave Udine. He is our national goalkeeper, he said it on multiple ocasions that he really likes it un Udine because it is also really close to home (Slovenia) and if he would to go elsewhere he would only go to one of the European biggest clubs

And since Kawashima and Udinese are mentioned I think there is 0,0,1% for this to happen, because Kawashima wont come if Samir wont leave...

Must say our boys are doing great lately. Also Matavz being the main striker for PSV :)

They are overreacting and quite frankly are rude.

Kawashima did get a goal between his legs but not before he saved a penalty shot and made some other excelent saves.

All together looking he didn't do great because of that goal, but he was exactly terrible as well. Have a look

Lol at the criticism. The more I read about Kawashima, the more depressing it gets.

Kawashima is actually club captain now which should show you how they view him as a player.

You can't blame Lierse's poor record on Kawashima alone. When they were in last place they had the 3rd in goals against but last in goals scored.

They have problems, but it isn't in defense. It's in their non-existent attack.

edit: Genk were last year's champions so being destroyed like that away isn't that big of a surprise.

There are always haters so I wouldn't let it get to you.

I've never seen a club where all its fans were content and happy with the current situation.

The funny thing is that all these so called "fans" of clubs complain about losing and such, but they'd never watch football if their team won every single game. I know I wouldn't, so I don't understand the high expectations that some fans have for their clubs.

They started the season good. If we look at conceded goals etc. Don't know what happend now but the defence has never been good.

You know on a lighter note, if Lierse happen to do what they did last season, by just barely surviving relegation... that would be extremely funny.

Well, I really hope he moves to another club next season, that is if he can spark some interest. If not, at least he's a regular team member.

    Clean sheet tonight. :)

    0-0.

They are acutally on pretty safe ground now. Safe for being Lierse :p

Well there are only 6 teams who have conceded less goals than Lierse in the entire league.

On the other hand they are by far worst in attack.

Meaning Kawashima is doing his job well. Probably the most important person at the club as well

There's actually a good chance he could transfer this winter.

His contract is up next summer so I'm sure that Lierse will want to cash in when they can. Kawashima has made no indication that he intends on extending his contract so if he doesn't leave this winter he will almost surely leave next summer.
