No problem. I have a feeling Kawashima will have a even better season this year and can make his dream move to a bigger club next year.

Yes but they look a little better this year. They have conceded only 5 goals, that is one the best in the league.

I don't know if people are interested, but anyway:

Beerschot has been fined 16.500€ for the Fukushima-chants from some fans during Lierse - Beerschot a few weeks ago.

Quite a high fine to be honest, last season fans from Charleroi (another Belgian club) destroyed the fences separating them from the field and actually got on the field resulting in a cancelling of the game and the team was fined only 4.500€.

Edit: Beerschot also has to offer apologies towards the Japanese ambassador and Kawashima within 6 days or they have to play one game without an audience.

The league is probably just taking a no tolerance policy on chants about 20000+ people's deaths in March.

Although I would say, that a proper apology would be enough. The fine seems a bit high. But that's no tolerance for you. It was pretty poor form that Beerschot didn't apologise on their own accord in the first place. Infact had they dealt with this issue a bit more appropriately, they may have saved themselves some money on the fine.

Still only conceded 6. But they struggle to score.

What will hopefully be my final post concerning the Fukushima-case:

A Beerschot-delegation (lead by the chairman, dhr. Vanoppen) will visit the Japanese embassy next wednesday to offer their formal and official apologies. They'll also offer their apologies to Kawashima.

Kept a clean sheet yesterday against third placed Cercle Brugge. Game ended 0-0.

A comical intervention in the first but two great saves in the second, the last one being really fantastic. Reminds me of the one he did against Webo and Cameroon during the World Cuo.

Huge mistake wich led to Zulte's goal. Then he settled in and made a crucial save.

Things looking good for them. If we compare to last season.

Still only conceded 9 goals, that is second best.

He's doing good, but i hope next year, for him, a bigger club and a bigger league. Like Holland or even France.

Kawashima deserves to play for a better team.

It's so sad, his team is tied for 3rd with the least amount of goals conceded in the league and some how they are 3rd from the bottom.

The last place team has scored 3x as many goals as Lierse.
