I don't think the regular season results matter much at all. The Giants had a losing record against the Braves, but I hope you're right. This isn't quite Warriors over Mavericks, but it would be an upset. The Phillies are favorites to win it all.

We just gotta hope our big guns like Huff, Pat the Bat, Posey, maybe even Panda, too, get hot! Hopefully we can get to Doc or Oswalt and steal at least one game in Philly.
Wow, huge win. This was the toss up game. Halladay vs Lincecum. You knew that the Giants had a chance, simply because of who was on the mound. Cody Ross and a few timely hits later, and you have a nice advantage. Now Game 2 is where the Giants can take a big step forward. Even though Oswalt's September and August ERA is sub 2, I feel that he is the weakest of the Phillies pitchers. If Sanchez can keep rolling and the Giants can get a jump on Oswalt, a 2-0 lead is possible and then we start talking upset!
I predicted Giants to lose 4-1 with Sanchez winning Game 2. Let's see what happens. And Lopez was clutch.

2010 MLB National League Championship Series (best-of-seven): 1-1. The Giants unfortunately (though not necessarily unexpectedly) lost Game 2 of the series. Next up: Game 3 of the 2010 MLB National League Championship Series at AT&T Park on FOX-HD on Tuesday. -G
Big big big big big Bumgarner vs Blanton tomorrow on Fox This one is kind of a toss up. Blanton hasn't pitched this postseason I don't believe. He had a plus 4 ERA while Bumgarner pitched well against the Braves and had a even 3 ERA this year.
2010 MLB National League Championship Series (best-of-seven): 2-1. The good guys won at home today to take the lead in the series. Next up: Game 4 of the 2010 MLB National League Championship Series at AT&T Park on FOX-HD on Wednesday. -G
Cainer is just awesome, he was our best pitcher this year TBH. And Ross, just wow...what a lucky pickup by Sabaen.
