Some days that's all we do. If it were up to me - which it is not - those "children" would be banned from ever submitting a SoB design in the future. The idea of these contests is not to "win" the contest, but for all SoB's to win by having the best scarf design. I entered, but looking at the others, I can see my design was not one of the best without having to vote on it. Losing just means the scarf is even better than I could have imagined.
I have never seen it this bad. If we can prove a direct correlation between bad behavior and a submitter, they will not be considered going forward. The insults and sock puppets in a contest with fellow members, really?
How's the old saying go - "If you didn't deserve it this time, you probably deserved it for something you did in the past." ?
I know, but it's a momentous day for me. A person, or persons, disliked me as an internet persona so much that they created at least 3 socks with names that attempted to belittle me. Ironic that they all voted for the same scarf design. I gotta write this down! Dear Diary ... But to get back on track, it looks like a lot of registered users like my Navy SoB design. Hooray!
Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock ... a little over 10 hours until the poll closes. I think I'll make a poll asking how long until the next poll is up.
congrats dills, it will be a great scarf. It would have been cool to win but im still happy with getting second out of everyone that entered
We are going to discuss. I have an idea but will wait til we hear from everyone at the meeting tonight.
Re: Sons of Ben 2009 Scarf Design Contest It doesn't matter, does it? Even with the non-registered user ballot stuffing and anti-me sock puppets it wasn't chosen for the scarf design.
Re: Sons of Ben 2009 Scarf Design Contest Can someone tell me what "the River End" is in reference too?
Re: Sons of Ben 2009 Scarf Design Contest The River End is the section where the supporters' groups will be in the stadium.
the art is being tweaked and there will be an order form up very soon, along with an accompanying 'nack
