Just put something like..."every team is currently tied for first place....and last place....as none have played a single game"

You just like posting the standings with no games played because it is the only time of the season Liverpool is actually listed ahead of Manchester United :D

This TV schedule is so far screwing me up. It use to be like clock work....Setanta had the early games on Saturday and Sunday plus any Monday games. Now it seems that with their financial troubles, they have given some games to ESPN 2 but they are not listed on the guide just yet. Needless to say, the next two Liverpool games will have dodgy coverage which isn't good considering I will be stuck at work both days.

Easily resolved. Stop supporting a bunch of hypocrites like Liverpool. I did and I feel so much better about myself now.

"We gladly sing about the Munich disaster, but dare you to speak unkindly about our involvement at Hillsborough and don't ever expect us to take any blame for Heysel."

Like every other good American fan before you. I guess that means I can't rub in your face that Manure lost 1-0 to Burnley today?

Did anyone miss what I just said? Manchester United LOST to BURNLEY. Did you get that? Good :p

And it still puts them on the same point total as Liverpool after 2 rounds. Simple math ya know. :p

Both teams better watch out for Arsenal though. ;)

He who laughs last, laughs loudest.

What does being 6 points off the top after only 3 games do for you? :D

    Final from Anfield
    Liverpool 1-3 Aston Villa

Manchester United drops points to inferior teams every season. And so does Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea. And Real Madrid and Barcelona. And Rangers and Celtic. And AC Milan and Inter Milan.

It never ceases to amaze me how many people come out of the woodwork when Manchester United has a game like this. But in all 17 years since the top league reformed as the Premier League, Manchester United has finished ahead of Liverpool. All 17, and soon to be 18. Yes, yes, I know... many many years before I was born, Liverpool won a bunch of titles.. yes, I've heard that one before... but let's put this one game aside, and look at where the two teams finish in the final table.

so to answer your question, yes, I got that, the part about Manchester United losing to Burnley. Did you get the part about Liverpool finishing behind Man Utd EVERY SINGLE SEASON OF THE EPL?

    ;)

It will be fun to see ManUre and the Red Shiite surplanted by Man City this season.

And when that happens, oh, how Sir Alex and Rafa will whine, and whine, and whine, and whine, ..... :)

Sorry, I don't have time to read all your posts.....I'm too busy eating crow. Horrible performance from my team, oh well it's a long season and I have a feeling it's going to get very interesting.

Rocket............I forgot how annoying you were. Everton fans: Cheering on other teams to do their dirty work since 1878.

Ok on to the next matchday....
