Yes, the beer is drinkable the day we bottle. There is usually enough to provide "samples" while bottling and still fill all the cases.

March 8, 2 PM to brew. Confirming that I'll be there.

I'll order a case. Won't be able to make the brewing.

Nice start on the labels. I'll leave it to the pros this year. :D

    Question:

Peel and stick labels (adds about $1.50 to the cost of each case; easy to put on, but a bitch to take off if they get wet)

    or

Glue-on labels (adds less than $0.50 to the cost of each case; a little more work, but easy to remove - sometimes too easy so you're left guessing what's in the bottle. ;) )

The Dubbel (Dreaming of a Double) should feature both the Open Cup and MLS Cup trophies.

A picture from one of the ritual burnings of a swampland jersey for the Dark Roast Porter?

    Is this the beer list?

    Glacier ESB
    Flagship IPA
    Deadhead Red
    Trappist Dubbel
    Greg's Peculiar
    Dark Roast Porter

If the Deadhead Red is not available, may I suggest the classic Irish Red Ale or the Scotch Ale that we did last year.

Is an IPA and ESB too much for folks?

Note that the tradition is to put two bottles of each brew into each case so that everybody may share in the variety. (Swap with others afterwards if there is something that you can't stand.)

    The actual beers:

    Glacier ESB - BSB
Flagship IPA - Infinite Partial Allocation
Trappist Dubbel - Dreaming of a Double
Dark Roast Porter - something about burnt Mutton
    Scotch Ale - Jeff's Ginger
Imperial Stout - secret name :)

We need a good picture of the ritual sacrifice of Jersey scum. Or is that a scum's jersey.

The Deadhead Red was deemed too lightweight.
