I predict Spurs in 6 (I would say 5 but I think the Suns are going to come out all guns blazing in Phoenix)

I think the whole series will depend on game 3. If the Spurs win, they'll take the series in 5 or 6. If they lose, the series will go to 6 or 7. That's my take anyway :D.

as barkley likes to say GGGGIIIIINNNNOOOOOBBBBBIIIIILLLLLLLIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Suns fans must be so frustrated to watch this team play. When you're team doesn't play defense, you won't win in the play-offs. It's as simple as that.

that went against my screen name didn't it. But it's such a true statement though. Especially in basketball.

My problem with defense is in the game of football. Too many managers and top teams I believe are overtly defensive and that's making football such a cynical sport. Chelsea-liverpool matchups are death-knell of football.

Manchester United played outrageous defense today at Camp Nou. It worked.

I don't understand why so many people argued their lack of experience would hurt the Hornets in the play-offs. They've beaten every single elite NBA team this season!

/\ I think the general argument is that experience can be the deciding factor between two otherwise evenly matched teams in a 7 game series. Beating the top teams during the regular season is not irrelevant but it's also not necessarily a good indicator that you can beat a top team 4 times out of 7 in a row, where it becomes more and more difficult to run your offense, get easy baskets, etc. etc....

Having said that, I watched most of the first two NO/Dallas games and NO is playing out of their minds. They are certainly playing well enough to keep advancing in the playoffs, and it wouldn't shock me to see them win game 3 in Dallas (and say goodbye, Little General).

Chris Paul looks like a playoff veteran. It's hard to believe this is his first trip to the playoffs.

    Game 3's for today:

Orlando at Toronto (Magic lead 2-0)
Cleveland at Washington (Cavs lead 2-0)
Houston at Utah (Jazz lead 2-0)

Tony Parker scoring at will tonight with 41. Spurs made game 3 look easy in blow out of Phoenix.

Magic will make it to the finals, they're playing the best ball in the East right now.

The East is a lot more interesting than the West if you ask me :D

Hard to bet against Superman, but I'm starting to think Cleveland may be going back to the finals.

With the West, who knows? LA has to be the favorite but their series with Utah will reveal a lot more than this first round bye against Denver did.

What a surprise - the officiating in the Suns/Spurs series is shameful yet again. The NBA's fixation with giving the Spurs every call is absolutely numbing from the perspective of a neutral.

Pop goes back to hack-a-shaq and win or lose (make or miss) I admit I really can't stand this strategy.

Unbelievable. Bowen knocks the ball out of Nash's hands with 25 seconds left, and it's San Antonio ball.

I guess this is good preparation for remembering what it's like to watch CONCACAF officiating in the Hex, but man it's frustrating.

There was NO WAY the Suns were going to win 3 straight games over the Spurs. SA deserved to advance because of their clutch performance in games 1 and 2 and their manhandling of the Suns in game 3. The Suns dug themselves into a pit they couldn't possibly get out of.

The Magic are playing like the did in the early 90s. Big on the inside, sharp on the outside/3 line. Cleveland is good, but you take James out of the game they crumble. Plus they'll have to get past the Big 3 of the C's. The Magic were able to run with the C's this year, plus they'll be well rested because I think they can put away Detroit in 5.

Detroit is overrated, they should have swept the sixers if they weren't.

Shouldn't the Celtics have swept the Hawks instead of losing two straight in Atlanta?
