True, but in those first legs the home team won three matches and drew the other.

Out of the seven games played the home team won five and lost two. Why don't we wait until the entire series is played before we try to draw any conclusions?

Wait to draw conclusions? You do realize this is Big Soccer you're talking about?

Besides, it's not often USL fans have a barometer to measure themselves against MLS. You can say USOC but considering MLS teams play mainly reserves it doesn't measure up. So far, USL has represented themselves well. More power to them.

That's too bad, this would've been a good chance for the UNAM reserves to play, I hope they play in the next leg...

Saprissa and DCU are more than capable of upsetting CA. Sucks for metapan/marathon though, I don't see them going through in any way...but fut is a curious sport and many times the unexpected happens so I wouldn't count them out completely.

"crapped their pants" is a bit harsh, don't you think? They only lost out by an aggregate of one in the last CCC. Maybe my memory is just shot but I can't remember any real blowout scorelines with DC v Mexican teams in recent years in any meaningful tourney. Even when they tanked out of Sudamericana, wasn't the score 2-2 against Chivas? They are capable...not saying they will upset CA, but they're more than capable of doing it.

OK. But once, 3 years ago doesn't really justify the "every single time" comment you made. Again, I'm not saying DC WILL upset CA...just they can. Honestly you really do need to get off of your Primera high horse. I know I had to, about three years ago.

last season Pachuca was destroying DC 3-0 on agg until like the 75th to 80th min of the second leg when Pachuca stopped trying, thats the only reason dc only lost by one goal. I have to get off what horse?:D maybe when Mexican teams lose, until then...:p:D jk

C'mon man, that's a bullcaca argument and you know it. Just because Boca lost to Chivas 5-0...does that mean that Boca se caga everytime they play Mexican teams? That's asinine and a fallacious argument. You can nit pick and make excuses but in recent years DC has been able to hold it's own against Mexican teams. Are they better than them? Not by a long shot. Are they as good as Mexican teams? Not quite. But they are competative, and to deny that blindly is simply stupid.

you want to bring in results against South American opposition? that only shows how much mexican teams are better. What argument Do you think I am making? All I said was DC craps their pants against mexican teams, if thats going to upset you, tough

You're missing the point. I only brought that up to demonstrate the fallacy in the argument...and the fact that your argument is pretty much false. They may choke :D, but they don't crap themselves.

Yeah Tell em' wut the deal is Mannie...we straight up don't give a f--- about other teams! Even though Houston plays in the MLS..all we care about is Houston ;) We could care less if other MLS teams beat a good Mexican or Costa Rican or other good concafaf sides..we'd rather bask in that glory ..:D
