    2007 DC United season tickets in the Screaming Eagles Nest are available NOW

    The special offer for last year's prices is now over. These are the new prices for 2007. Obviously the sooner you lock in the better your seat selection will be (some folks have moved around so ask what might be available).

    Full season plan (18 games)

    $315 : SE member price
    $345 : Non-member price
    $360 : D.C. United price

    Half-season plan (9 games)

    $175 : SE member price
    $195 : Non-member price
    $207 : D.C. United price

    Youth Prices (same as United)

    $207 : Full season
    $117 : Half Season

    Please add $10 for shipping/handling to your order (one fee per address, not per ticket).

    How to order

    Send an email to tickets@screaming-eagles.com or call the SE ticket hotline, 202-544-6744, voice mailbox #1.

    Please tell us the following (even if you're renewing please provide answers to ALL of the following questions)

    * Your name, address (no PO boxes), phone, e-mail address, and SE membership status
    * Your preferred location (section 134, 133 or 132)
    * If you are paying by credit card, your name as it appears on the card, the number and expiration date.

    If we have a valid card on file for you, send Nicole the last 4 digits and the expiration date.

    If paying by check, make it payable to 'DC UNITED' and mail it to:

    Screaming Eagles, Inc.
    P O Box 15878
    Washington DC 20003
    Attn: Tickets

    DC United says they will be processing credit card charges before Thanksgiving. Sorry, we don't have information on incentives, exchanges, or parking at this time.

    The SE Ticketmistress will acknowledge all messages so that if you don't hear from her, please try again.

    By the way, if you have season tickets in the Nest but aren't coming back for 2007, or if you've transferred your seats to someone else whose name we do not have, please let her know.

    I put myself in hawk and cancelled Xmas - just to save $20 for ordering early to avoid a "huge price increase". Man, I feel fleeced ;)

    Got an e-mail from The Ticket Mistress yesterday:

    "The Screaming Eagles Nest is filling up quickly. We have already sold more season tickets than last year, and it's only January! Fewer seats will be available on a game by game basis, and the price of match day tickets has increased."

    Yeah, I think we're at 205. I'd have to go back through emails to see the exact date but sometime early into the season last year we broke 200. Nicole was SOOOO happy!!!

    UPDATE: We're now at 241 season ticket holders in the SE Nest (if we hit 250 or over there will be some SERIOUS celebrating!)

    These are the current tix prices, Nicole has parking info now if you need.

    2007 Season Ticket Prices
    DC United wants to see the Nest full of enthusiastic fans, and they put their money where their mouth is. They give the Screaming Eagles a special deal on tickets and we pass the discount on to you.

    18 game Full Season Plan (regular MLS and "special" matches)
    $330 :: SE price
    $350 :: Non-member price
    $360 :: DC United price

    9 game Half Season Plan
    $180 :: SE price
    $200 :: Non-member price
    $207 :: DC United price

    Please add $10 for shipping to all orders.

    Youth prices (6-16) are the same as United’s ($ 207 for a full season, $ 117 for a half-season plan).

    Half season plans: United divides its 18 home games into two 9-game plans (A and B) that include games starting in April and ending in October. Each half-season plan has at least one of the “special” games (usually an international competition or exhibition). Schedule for A&B Plans

    Seats Elsewhere in the Stadium
    The SE discounted price is good only for seats in the three sections of the Nest. If you want seats elsewhere in the stadium, please contact DC United directly.

    Ticket Exchange
    DC United will be continuing its popular ticket exchange program. In 2007 there will be a number of games at which you may exchange unused season tickets. DC United Customer Service handles all exchanges. You must mail them your tickets at least a week in advance. Your replacement tickets will be in a section near, but not in, the Nest.

    Discounted Parking
    Season ticket holders can order discounted parking passes for Lot 8. The prices are expected to be a little more than $50 for a half-season and about $100 for a full season’s worth of passes. Contact the SE Ticket Mistress for details.

    You can sign up for membership and order tix about the same time. You can go here for membership: http://www.screaming-eagles.com/membership.html You can either download the form and send us a check for $25 OR you an pay via paypal (send to payments@screaming-eagles.com, in the notes section make sure we have your contact info including snail mail, a phone number, your birthdate and your jersey size).

    For tickets, contact the SE Ticket Mistress as directed above (payments for tix are made out to DC United, not us). If we know someone is joining and getting tix we can keep an eye on the mail or paypal, no problem.

    I just wanted to add that our wonderful ticket goddess will also have information at the Season Kickoff Celebration. However, you certainly might not want to wait that long - it is quite possible that we might break the 250 mark before next Saturday comes along.

    BTW- The Kickoff Shindig is also a wonderful opportunity for folks to thank her personally for the hours upon hours of volunteer time she invests in working to make the SE ticket holders happy :)

    I AM really happy. This season we have sold a record number of seats in the Nest. We passed the 250 mark minutes after its announcement at the Feb 24 Screaming Eagles Kickoff Shindig. The new goal is to hit 275 this year -- and we could easily make it!

    If you are one of those people who buys tickets on a game by game basis and really wants to sit in our rowdy section, I'm thinking it's time for you to step up and buy a season ticket. There will be very few available seats in section 134 because the section is full of season ticket holders. We may have to turn section 133 into another rowdy section and do away with "Nest Lite" in section 132. (Hurry up with that new stadium already!!)

    Season tickets are still available. Scroll back to an earlier post for prices and how to order. I'm waiting to hear from you!

    275????

    Why stop at 275 season tickets?

    Doesn't 300 have a nice round number sound to it?

    Christian Gomez says "Don't wait until its too late!!"

    [IMG]

    Then you don't have to worry about rowdy/non-rowdy issues at all :p

    See, I told you :p

    No, it is a tremendous testament to all the hard work the Ticketmistress does and the incredible customer service she provides as a volunteer! Hell, if RBNY ever got someone with 1/100 the level of personal service they'd sell out the Swamp :cool:

    OK, we're now at 295. Who will push us up and over 300? (and get Nicole that party she's been promised!) I think she should hold out for a spa day at the Mandarin Oriental hotel!

    I wish I could find my all my cool graphics I have been using here at work, I had a great one of some office people cutting loose with bottles of champagne and confetti whistles.... Is it realistic to shoot for 350?
