question: if you are not currently a member of the SE and want to become a member can you register and pay the members price at the same time or must you wait a bit?
You can sign up for membership and order tix about the same time. You can go here for membership: http://www.screaming-eagles.com/membership.html You can either download the form and send us a check for $25 OR you an pay via paypal (send to payments@screaming-eagles.com, in the notes section make sure we have your contact info including snail mail, a phone number, your birthdate and your jersey size). For tickets, contact the SE Ticket Mistress as directed above (payments for tix are made out to DC United, not us). If we know someone is joining and getting tix we can keep an eye on the mail or paypal, no problem. K
I just wanted to add that our wonderful ticket goddess will also have information at the Season Kickoff Celebration. However, you certainly might not want to wait that long - it is quite possible that we might break the 250 mark before next Saturday comes along. BTW- The Kickoff Shindig is also a wonderful opportunity for folks to thank her personally for the hours upon hours of volunteer time she invests in working to make the SE ticket holders happy KGDG Come On United (States and DC) www.screaming-eagles.com
I AM really happy. This season we have sold a record number of seats in the Nest. We passed the 250 mark minutes after its announcement at the Feb 24 Screaming Eagles Kickoff Shindig. The new goal is to hit 275 this year -- and we could easily make it! If you are one of those people who buys tickets on a game by game basis and really wants to sit in our rowdy section, I'm thinking it's time for you to step up and buy a season ticket. There will be very few available seats in section 134 because the section is full of season ticket holders. We may have to turn section 133 into another rowdy section and do away with "Nest Lite" in section 132. (Hurry up with that new stadium already!!) Season tickets are still available. Scroll back to an earlier post for prices and how to order. I'm waiting to hear from you!
275???? Why stop at 275 season tickets? Doesn't 300 have a nice round number sound to it? Christian Gomez says "Don't wait until its too late!!" Then you don't have to worry about rowdy/non-rowdy issues at all KGDG Our Team. Each Other. Our Community. Well, the SE Ticketmistress is has outdone herself again, we are now up to (drumroll, please) 276 SEASON TICKET HOLDERS So, the new goal is 300. Don't be shy, come on in, the water is fine!! K
See, I told you No, it is a tremendous testament to all the hard work the Ticketmistress does and the incredible customer service she provides as a volunteer! Hell, if RBNY ever got someone with 1/100 the level of personal service they'd sell out the Swamp KGDG Come On United (States and DC) www.screaming-eagles.com Standing Up For DC
OK, we're now at 295. Who will push us up and over 300? (and get Nicole that party she's been promised!) I think she should hold out for a spa day at the Mandarin Oriental hotel! K
I wish I could find my all my cool graphics I have been using here at work, I had a great one of some office people cutting loose with bottles of champagne and confetti whistles.... Is it realistic to shoot for 350?
