To be fair, I didn't see anyone supporting her when they were 3 defenders on Marta - and she is tired (in addition to being frustrated.)
Ah well, one point is better than none. They are the ones that really had to win. Nice to know we can watch away games on this link tho.
So bottom team ties top team. Really would have liked to see some subs in the last 15 or 20 minutes and seen Sol go for the win. Why not give subs some time, some experience?
Abner has a lot of explaining to do about this game (unless all of the players on the bench had injuries .) No subs, and many of the players in there started looking tired around the 60th minute. The team was lucky to get a tie - a number of the Sol players would have scored on at least one of the many chances that Kai had tonight - whatever the defensive plan was that the coach had the team play, it wasn't working. *** *** A very good webcast, though. I'd like to see all the Sol away games to be available in that format.
Regarding the Webcast, me too. I just sent an email to thank them for the good coverage. I really thought Sol would win this game and am surprised at the outcome. That makes two scoreless games this weekend.
The Sol played like an away team plays..played not to get beat. Sky Blue need to put away their chances. There is no point saying they outplayed the Sol when they had plenty of chances to score. - The conditions were horrible.. the field looked bumpy & players were slipping all over the place . They were not running full on in case of injury. LAST POINT - Abner obviously doesn't think he has players on the bench to change the game!
