:). I can only watch the second-half but I would settle for a 2-2 halftime score, even if that means I probably just missed a great 45 min.

Gil seems to have a pretty good idea... (look 3 posts up from here)

both almost full-strength lineups. Notably, we're missing Puyol and they're not playing Isco.

Good, expected line-up from us. Let's hope we give premium performance tonight. Score twice before HT.

Too bad Gooch isn't starting. I'd like to see what damage Messi could do with the USMNT mainstay at CB. He's like a Pepe without the psychopathy.

Working well in the studio and ads pregame, and in Engligh, not sure yet if it is BeIn with Ray:
http://88.80.5.80/w00t/20130123/vv510006d914381879500688.html EDIT - Looks like SkySports so likely no Ray for better and worse.

Line-up expected save for Puyol's absence but that is in keeping with the 3 man rotation they've been using and also we'll need Puyol with Masch for the weekend fixture with Pique suspended. Still I would prefer Puyol there, esp. on set pieces. I also think Masch plays best with Puyol, 2nd best with Pique and not so well at all with other CBs.

Jordi Roura is on the bench tonight, not Tito. For those who didn't know, Tito is in the US again for a 10 day treatment as part of his chemotherapy. He'll be back the first day of February, I believe.

Important game tonight, crucial that we score first. Come on!

Arguably this is the first match since late August with something really at stake. Win for survival in the Copa.

If you exclude Liga matches and CL group stage, maybe.

Messi has never scored an official goal on a Thursday night, hopefully that doesn't last the night.

    PEDROOOOO!!! Yes!!!

    0-1!

Great play from Xavi and Alves in the buildup to that yet again, and Pedro places his header well.

    Very good start.
