Dunno if stupid. 15 mins with 10 players against Pedro clean through. Tactically not horrible to take the red imo. Totally deserved of course.

    2-2.

It's all wide open again. Tito should really have just started Alba, Xavi, Cesc, and Pedro tonight.

    **** defending, 2-2.

At least it's simple now: the best XI to the second leg, and it's game ******* on.

    2-2 FT.

    - one of the worst matches of the season, even if occasional glimpses of quality.
    - poor passing, poor finishing in general.
    - these weak matches happen to every team: we're halfway, and it's not easy to keep Barca from winning, so we've lost nothing yet.
    - need to improve: mediocre Barca is not enough to win good Malaga.
    - to the second leg: Pinto + the best X starting, thank you.

Malaga has two away goals. If the second leg ends 1-1 or 2-2, Malaga goes through on away goals.

    Clutch defending

At least we can afford to throw everything at them in the 2nd leg.

I blame Alexis for this one. 2 open goal misses.

But honestly don't really care too much about the CDR.

Point is, Malaga doesn't even have to score to go through. And they have the best D, statistically speaking, in la liga.

Lack of finishing was the summary of this tie.

Thanks, well full-strength XI next week, confident they can do it. Would be shitty for Barca not to advance and Real advance thanks to their 12th man.

It isn't Alexis' fault we didn't win, it's the team and Tito's for not paying enough attention. Yes we beat them away with a strong effort on Sunday, but cup matches are different. Malaga showed a great image tonight despite fielding an understrength team themselves. This could all have been avoided if Tito had just started with the big guns tonight and gotten a good home result. Now we're in danger of going out.

I don't think we'll win the Copa this year.
