Agreed although Monterey seems to be knocking on the door a lot. I think it's only a matter of time before they net one. BTW why does Suazo bitch so much? It's annoying.
you mean Aaron Galindo should've done his job as a defender and tackle the ball away. also, great goal by Humberto Swayze. Nice movement/dribble and excellent composure for that nice finish.
The Mexican CCL golden boot streak could be in danger. H. Suazo Monterrey .........7 O. Peralta Santos Laguna ..6 H. Gómez Santos Laguna ...6
He slalomed through Baloy and Galindo on that one. (After running away from Crosas, Estrada and Luduena.)
That was an epic play. Reminded me of Jordan's shot in the 1991 Finals, which cemented his legendary status. Suazo is indeed now a legend, and he may win tournament MVP now that that award has been created. We can vote for who wins it at the CONCACAF website.
da fock is slalomed?? never heard of that word... anyways, its possible for a remontada by santos on the return leg like they usually do. Their play in the whole game was horrible. Passes to nowhere or led to a Monterrey giveaway. Bottled shots. No creativity in attacking whatsoever. Defense was MLS crap so hopefully they step their shit up and make an exciting come back. Humberto Swayze aint gonna be there so santos shouldn't be too worried at all.

Yeah, skiing term, though I'm not sure it's actually a verb. It seems fairly worrying with the away goals rule and a 0-2 loss.
man Toronto, Seattle, and the Galaxy should thank their lucky stars they got Santos on their side of the bracket and not Monterrey.....Monterrey would have reached double digit goals against the puny mls teams!
Just like 2010... Chupete 2nd goal made me remember his 3rd goal on the 20100 final here I compare the 2 goals wich one is better? [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vH8kYuEz-bQ"]Humberto Suazo : Comparando goles del crack chileno vs Santos - YouTube[/ame] Mty without Suazo loose @ least 50% of his attack, hopefully the defense play there best game of the season
Great goals by Suazo. Santos is going to have to find another gear in the return leg to change the outcome of this final.
off topic, but monterrey will be in the playoffs to. this is probably the most exciting playoffs in recent years. in my opinion
