i wish i could make it for the snow game. it would be great to be there in person along with the other 400 people who will be attending tonight.

You know and I know that if Marquez is fit to play, he will play, the coach team want that to happen, I mean Henry and Backe.... The terrible things is, that if Marquez and Conde are able to play, Marquez will play as a DCMF instead of McCarty and that will be a boo-boo, because Backe will never sit down Holgerslush.....

If Conde wasn't even on the bench last game, I doubt he'll shoot straight into the starting lineup.

    Yeah, no way in hell.

I bet Hans puts all of LeToux, Rafa, Miller, Solli, and Hulk on the pitch just to piss off the fans.

It appears the pitch has been covered. But does RBA have undersoil heating? That might be needed to keep the snow from accumulating during the match.

They're insane to be playing this game. Absolutely nuts.

Sad thing is, after all their bitching and moaning, both legs are going to be DC home games.

I know what you mean, but I still think the the weather is going to play a more important factor than an empty stadium. Whoever can master the conditionst, no matter how much noise or quietness there is inside, will win.

I googled and found several articles that documented the Oct 2009 installation of the SubAir system which provides drainage & heating supposedly. They're going to need it!

Because I just checked Weather.com for Harrison and it says:

I can't complain to be honest. That's a big lineup and hopefully we can can out muscle them.

I feel bad for the players. They're going to freeze! I think they should wear some head gear to cover their ears or something..

MLS soccer should be ashamed of themselves. The stadium is empty, MLS Cares probably got very little in donations. They will be lucky if someone does not get hurt. Good luck trying to pull out of those parking lots. This is going to be an ugly game of soccer.

I think they needed to do that because it would've been too heavy w/ snow. I was just out shoveling in CT and it's REALLY wet heavy stuff.

That said I think this is about the worst pitch I've seen a game (supposedly?) to be played on. In most leagues they'd call it off. The refs would do that even if the teams wanted to play.

In MLS I guess the commissioner calls that shot?

But the one thing they seemed clearly to have screwed up on from watching the TV coverage is that they don't have enough shovels and people to use them. They clearly are not pros doing this.

The look on TH14's face said it all.

I expect to see some muscle injuries tonite and not just Rafa! If so, that'll be a sad outcome to a brave bunch of guys.
