wow I went upstairs for 3 or 4 minutes and came back down to a 2-0 score. Did he have anything to do with the second? I really like watching Torres play, he is such a smart player and very vocal.

    3-0 gimenez.

Torres with the assist on a nice pass.

3-0 Pachuca Torres (I believe) with the assist to Chaco Gimenez on the right. Now Torres is down getting some magic spray to his shinguard - announcers praise him.

Torres gets fouled but no call from the ref, gets up gingerly, probably nothing serious.

Commentators rightfully stating that Atlas must really be burnt out after eliminating America Friday night....They exerted lots of energy to come back from 1-0 down in order to win 4-1.... and they needed precisely that 3 goal difference -which they obtained in stoppage time- to qualify for this stage...Pachuca, having one more day of rest is showing what team is fitter right at this point...Furthermore, this being "like" preseason for all MFL clubs...... is not easy for Atlas at all....and it shows.... One could almost say Pachuca has qualified for Libertadores... (unless i am horribly jinxing Pachuca) ...It'll be awesome to see Torres play in the most important club competition in the hemisphere......

Hasn't Michael Orozco and San Luis already qualified for the Copa Libertadores?

If so it's even more fantastic.

You forgot the part where the Atlas player got himself redcarded in stoppage time. Time to see how many times Jack Bauer can save the world in the next 2 hours!

Plus Atlas down to 10 men. I was just thinking- if Torres were trying out at the MLS combine this weekend the coaches would say, "Good skill, good feet, has quickness, but is undersized and may not be physical enough for MLS." And someone would take a flyer on him in the 4th round.

Actually, Torres intercepted a ball in midfield and sparked the quick counter with a through ball to Pinto, who laid off the pass to Gimenez.

Torres has been playing very well, he seems to be connecting most of his passes and is very involved with Pachuga's attack

OG from a Pachuca defender on the freekick, I think. This game is not over yet...
