Excitement over Dynamo to be on display in opener

The Dynamo hope to make a favorable first impression.

"You want to win, Colorado is a conference opponent," Kinnear said. "You want to build confidence right away. We have new fans and we want to show them a winning team."

Team president Oliver Luck said fans are in store for an exciting opening day.

"It will be a great game day experience on April 2nd. Olympian Chad Hedrick will kick off the game, jet planes will do a flyover and we will end with fireworks."

Not to nitpick Glenn, but Mathis' goal was in the run of play as O'brien fed him an excellent chip over the top.
