Not really, he was pushed on the back. That much was clear.

I'd like to see Ji and Wickham play together in the Capital one cup. Wickham looks like hes better at holding up the play than altidore

Most of the matches today were 0-0, 1-0, or 1-1. Aside from the top 6 teams the BPL is basically a brutally defensive quagmire. Not sure why its so popular.

He needs to spend more time to gel with his teammates. He looked embarrassingly out of loop at times, but had a few strong moments. Also Altidore was horrific.

Lambert deserved a goal or two today.

    Sunderland's back line was good.

I'm not depressed about some retarded Sunderland fans who clearly know s*** about football. Ji generated more chances in a half of play than the rest of the sh** team that he's on combined.

he set up one for Johnson (who skyed it) and Altidore (who choked). he was a bit off pace and had 1 or 2 bad passes but he seemed the only forward player capable of trapping the ball, getting their head up, and connecting with a player with the same kit.

sunderland fans will be sunderland fans.

Things I've learned since joining BSK:

    1. English fans are kind of stupid.
    2. Some English fans are really stupid.

Given that he's had what 10 minutes of football this month, and far longer since he was last in EPL, its understandable that he'd be slightly off.

Ki, PCY, Ji. I agree about the fans though, Ji gets it all cause he is asian. Simple as that. Always been that way and it will always be that way..

I think at this point Sunderland fans don't even care about that having been so damaged. Now they're just all broken.

When Asian players do well, fine, and then one slump, they become shirt-selling useless trash in the eyes of some fans.

JDW didn't have a good game that's for sure. He was surprisingly weak for a person of his size. But in comparison to Sessegnon he was miles better. It's a miracle how Sessegnon hasn't been dropped yet.

Guys, Ji did not have a good game. It's frustrating to watch because given this chance he should have torn into it. But he didn't. He was timid, not committed, and overall weak.

I hope he's given another chance. But I wouldn't play him with what he showed today.

Not good enough for the PL, ship him off to the bundesliga.

So Sunderland fans call Ji "sh*t" so we call them stupid?

It's not like he was overly impressive. If he was, I doubt there would be that kind of reaction from them. I thought he had couple of good plays but was just like the rest of the team. Even the not-so-talented players will make the occasional good plays. The general performance of Ji wasn't exactly a good one but it's only 1 game.
