    ¿ah?

It would be awesome if LDU could bring it back to South America, but based on their performance at Sudamericana, I don't see it. I see Pachuca having a better chance, actually. But it's not debatable that ManU is the clear favorite this year.

off topic... but wtf does pachuca mean????? what is a pachuca?? is it a town or city in Mexico that I don't of?

why do Mexican teams/players have weird nicknames/actual names?? like after farm animals and such?? etc. chivas... el borrego .. etc..

but yea ... I see LDU and Pachuca battling it out... I really can't say right now who will come out winner .. both haev 50/50 chance.

Yes, however the thing with mexican clubs is that it gets confusing what's their true name and their nickname. This is reflected in Argentina with the stadiums the majority of the stadiums(almost all of them) are always referred by their nickname.

By the way, isn't one of Defensor Sporting's nicknames el gusano loco?

(tecolote, guajalote, ocelote). Espero no equivocarme...

not at all, for example chivas is not the official name but rather club deportivo guadalajara or pumas official name is club universidad nacional although there is teams that have animal names as there official names like juguares de chiapas but for the most part teams are not officialy named after "farm animals" rather over time they have becomed so identified by them that they stick.

Quito... after the tribe of natives that lived in the same city.... But I was referring more to the farm animal names... I thought pachuca was one of them ... but I now I know it's a city.. but as a city I can understand... many cities/places in the American continent are not named in castilian... Quito, Bogota, Cali, Guayaquil, Cuzco, Ipanema, Idaho, MIssissippi, etc...

But yea ... let's all get back to futbol !

    [IMG]Manchester United 1 - 0 LDU Quito[IMG]

Wayne Rooney grabbed the only goal as 10-man Manchester United were crowned kings of the world.

United were always the dominant force in their Club World Cup Final with LDU Quito, even after Nemanja Vidic had been sent off.
