I thought we should've at least been able to get a goal.. That's what I have been disappointed at the most...not one ********ing goal
@Dhajj This game would go down as one that got away. Madrid managed 91 passes in the first half!! That was how much we dominated but too much of anything can be bad even possession! We played like it was a futsal game in a barrio where the objective is not to score but just show your skills We have to put our best foot forward in this game! Banking on a super-sub would be costly. If we are able to get an early goal or two it means in the event of a Madrid goal we have fewer goals to chase for Its no point worrying about an X-factor in the latter stages if Madrid are in a position where they can just shut up shop Let's see some fighting spirit and a furious rally! Madrid almost came back from a 4-1 deficit last season. Time for Pep to earn his bread BTW: I may or may not watch the game if Rafinha plays at RB ahead of Lahm. Its not our sole problem but its a significant part of it.
Positive aspect of Pep is he won't avoid change because of stubbornness. He is self confident enough to admit blame and make the necessary changes for the 2nd Leg.
for ********s sake, thats a very bad omen,I can see a cheap penalty given to Penaldo. Even with a competent ref the game on tuesday would have been an uphill task.I hope we finish with something like a 2-1 so we can finish the CL on a high note.Even if we reach the final the risk of losing another final to Chelski or A Madrid would have been too high,as our defensive tactics dont help us too much.
I wish if we get eliminated we finish with a respectable score which can give us confidence for next season,my post is pessimistic but thats because I dont think that our advancement to the final is very likely,I have been already starting to think who I will support once Real plays Chelsea in the final(likely scenario)
Does anyone want to know all of the 3 Bayern matches Proenca has refereed? 2009: Bayern - Bordeaux 0-2 2011: Bayern - Inter 2-3 2012: Bayern - Chelsea 1-1 CL final.
It could be a bad omen. But on the other hand our home record vs Madrid is as follows. 9 games 8 wins 1 draw 24 goals scored 10 goals conceded Goal ratio 2.4
Too fast to give up hope of another final with just a 0-1 deficit! It is difficult to get a clean sheet against RM, but getting 3 goals is very much possible. RM defence was extraordinary last week but they are not going to repeat the same feat again. Let's not forget Bayern has just played at the hell of Bernabeu (where even Dortmund lost 0-3). Tuesday match will be completely a new game.
You can add one match - the recent one. Germany - Sweden 4-4. With a lot Bayern players in defense and midfeld. It went from 4-1 or 4-2 to 4-4 when Müller got subbed... A Schweinsteiger-Kroos midfield and Lahm-Boateng and Badstuber in defense and Neuer in goal...
Apparently a Real Madrid fan broke one the boards rules by opening the CL matchday thread before the League game one. Bad omen for them? Thread making rule gaf could result in Bayern to advance? They wanted someone else to make the thread too. Looks like thread making rules could decide this tie now.
imagine if i wasnt banned and i created the match thread in their section and made their logo size the small one and our the big one lmao shit is about to get real
Since ribery seems to be getting a 2nd chance. Neuer Lahm boateng Dante Alaba Martinez Robben gotze bastian ribery Mandzucic I really think muller might be better as super sub. Kroos can be thrown in to hold on to 2-0 lead scenario. But gotze allowed to open space through the middle can be huge here.
i think the boys will pull this off on Tuesday. after today game and specially in the second half i think they got what it takes to kick some ass. SUPER BAYERN! HEY HEY!
Here's our head to head record.. http://www.worldfootball.net/teams/real-madrid/bayern-muenchen/11/ We have NEVER lost to Madrid in Munich. In fact we have an almost flawless record against them.. But will we score enough to get by, that's what I am afraid of.. If you notice the average scoreline is 2-1 in Munich. Here's our scoreline vs Madrid 2-1 2-1 1-1 2-1 2-1 2-1 4-1 (group stage) 3-2 4-1 2-0
