Emilio Garcia Montoya, a '94 at Pachuca, is evidently Mexican-American (though not American-born, according to the Mexican federation). He's been there since 08/09.
Garcia started today for Pachuca's U-20 team. That's notable because he's a 94 and still eligible for the club's U-17 team, but is playing up. Obviously, that speaks well of him. Last season, there were nine YAs born in 1993 active in Mexico, that I know of. Of these, only one was getting any playing time at the U-20 level (Juan Pablo Ocegueda).
Well, it turns out that this guy has made the bench three times in 2011-12 and once in 2012-13. He also made his debut in Pachuca's final group stage match in Copa MX.

Garcia has made 3 starts and 1 substitute appearance for the Pachuca U-2os to date during the 2014 Apertura. Pachuca have a spot in the 2014/2015 CONCACAF Champions League. During the 2014 Clausura he played 55 minutes over 3 substitute appearances while on loan to Estudiantes Tecos in the Ascenso MX. He also made 2 starts and 1 substitute appearance in the Copa MX and 3 starts for their affiliate in the 3rd tier.
Hi @bungadiri , here's another academy thread. Pachuca drew 3-3 with Chivas in the first leg of the U20 final last night (Chivas the big favorite). Garcia started for Pachuca, no surprise as he's been doing so consistently.
Update from RGV -- apparently still Pachuca property: The loan for two players on the 2016 roster are due to expire at the conclusion of the calendar year. Midfielders Emilio Garcia (Pachuca, Mexico) and Jorginho James (Harbour View F.C., Jamaica) each joined the club on loan in March prior to the beginning of the USL regular season. RGV FC retain the right to negotiate with each of the players and their respective parent clubs through the end of the year, and those discussions are ongoing. http://www.uslsoccer.com/news_article/show/728566?referrer_id=2349190
