Gortat wouldn't be bad, but I don't think he's a difference maker for Dallas. I think they go for small ball and get Chris Bosh this summer. Memphis would be the team they'd want to avoid at all costs though.
So the only teams keeping the Heat from a 4th straight Finals are Raptors, Nets & Wizards? Time to take a long hiatus from the NBA again.
Bulls aren't out of this yet. Wizards have been shit at home this season and maybe we get on one of our hot streaks
I watch NBA all the time. I watch a lot of NFL too, that's about it. I'll watch playoff hockey, but not crazy amounts.
Wouldn't be surprised if Pats blow out the Bears there. If Bears stick to the Cover 2 defense, it's the defense Brady absolutely torches.
My interest has steadily declined since MJ retired. I gave up completely during the Lakers runs and i think im gonna do it again. 2011 was very special but more lows than highs since then.
That's on you, I'll actively root for my teams no matter what. Fwiw I think we'll win at least one in the Rose/Noah/Thibs era
Unless my team is playing, I do prefer the NBA playoffs than MLB but I've just found it difficult to connect with NBA culture because I no longer listen to Rap or wear sneakers etc. The Elite players are the biggest prima donnas in professional sports so it's tough to respect many of them. The regular season is a complete waste of time
keep away with that Bosh, first he has just an ETO which means you have again to rely on what LeBron does aka decision 2.0. Secondly he never wanted to go to Dallas anyway, he basically shut down all rumors of him a native coming back to Dallas. Third if they go for small ball (aka the 4 that can play 5) they rather go for Gasol simply because agewise he matches up better with Dirk meaning that when Dirk hangs up his boots Gasol can too or is at least very close too since they both are just two years apart
Indiana getting rid of a locker room glue in Danny Granger and acquiring a player trying to boost his payday in Evan Turner has ultimately killed the chemistry of the Pacers.
Bosh is 99.99% sure to opt out. I also don't recall him shutting down rumors. Gasol wouldn't be a bad option but Bosh is definitely a better player.
There's the west where OKC is in major trouble against the Grizzlies, the Spurs have at least a tough time with the Dallas Mavericks, the Clippers and Golden State fight on a high level and what's going on in the East? The Pacers and Chicago implode without a single noteworthy competitor for the Heat... *sigh*
Bulls were never a noteworthy competitor for the Heat. We're just good for a bunch of hard fouls against them
During his Toronto time and him being on the verge to move elsewhere Dallas was always brought up and he didn't seem very fond of that idea. Personally I hope Dallas does not throw money at him simply because their major rebuilding starts when Dirks quits in 2 or 3 years and Gasol fits imo better into this time frame
I don't remember Dallas have max cap space back then though. I'm sure the money they offer will make him consider at the very least.
