So whats everyones take on Nike FC? I've just looked through the pictures, seems fishy. Are we meant to believe that nike have been planning NFC for years?! no one picked up the personalisation on boots or anything over the years? hmmmmm... nice try nike.
Lot of sh1te IMO......was looking at the pics aswell & most of them could be easily photo-shopped. Looked on Google for the pic of the boot with the date on it & its Cannavaro's from Italy's friendly in Aug 2009 against Switzerland.....was a record appearance for Cannavaro heres the real pics......hilarious that soccerbible reported it themselves Plus link to footy-boots article http://www.footy-boots.com/cannavaro-appearance-record-7612/ BUSTED!!!
That is a quality ad! Was Ronaldo wearing the old soleplate (8/9) on his superflys or did I see it wrong?
The black colourway...lord have mercy! Anyone have news on price as much as Im willing to dump £275 (ps4 can wait) on these would love it Nike did their loyal fans a solid (unlikely)! Think last world cup ad was much better! Where are france and holland in this???
http://www.footyheadlines.com/2014/04/new-nike-magista-nike-id-football-boots.html?m=1 Id magista already?
Yeah what are the price going to be set at? I know that the flyknit trainers/sneakers are over £100 so I'm guessing these are going to be close to the £200 mark? Right now it's exciting to be a Nike fan, they are over shadowing EVERYTHING Adidas is doing in my opinion. appleCORR
The real question is are these going to be available for preorder soon? I need a pair of boots bad and I'm not trying to wait forever for the superflys to come out. I might have to opt out for the magistas if the superflys take too long edit: preorder for superflys is may 26. ******** that, magistas it is
The main question I have is now that the Magista and the Superfly both have the sock collar and are both made from flyknit, how different are they going to be? The only difference I can see is the sole plate and flywire.
Soleplate and how the flywire is arranged on the upper i suppose. Also the superflys have carbon fiber bottom where as the magistas don't. I'm curious how much each of them will weigh
Surely superfly will be lighter too? My season is over (mid table finish boo) so i will be picking up a pair in august or september. I wonder if nike will make sg and fg version widely available as i never saw sg for previous superflys available at niketown at all. There is no way in uk that you can use an fg boot through the whole season Edit- just seen on footyboots that both versions should be available
In that advert CR7s boots looked like they had some sort of coating on them so they still looked like a pair of football boots with just the sock poking out the top. appleCORR
Expanding on that; I wonder how many pros will wear 'full' versions of the boot (&magista too for that matter) as opposed to modified versions or even the normal vapors. I know I intend to get both the normal vapors + superflys.
Wondering that myself too. Many pros avoid using ankle guards since the added bulk on your ankles can mess with your touch I guess. Very interesting to see how it goes.
With that in mind, it really would be the ultimate statement of pro's 'buying in' to the Dynamic Fit Collar if they did start wearing them, given many of them deliberately avoid wearing anything on the ankles. Will be interesting to see how it goes!
It reminds me a bit of the Adidas 2006 (I think) WC commercial with the two kids want to play and they pick all the adidas superstars of the day.
I think they were just digitally imposed onto the film and he wasn't actually wearing them, hence the odd look and the outsole. That exchange (50,000k screaming my name to the boots) is the best part of the commercial along with the Hulk.
