Good, should have his loan of choice if we decide to not keep him with us next season.

The kid needs football, that's for sure. No point in him coming back and sitting on the bench.

He may get more rub than we think. I'm still under the impression we recall one of our attacking players.

Heard one of the clubs was BvB. Wouldnt mind that in the slightest.

As long as he plays. Get nervous for deals like this if the play gets buried, but if he can play regularly, sign sealed and delivered.

@Cris 09 , thoughts on the younger hazard getting playing time at BvB? seems like this year he could have just because of injuries. i think he could offer the squad quite a bit, but enough to play regularly? he'd be fighting with some pretty established players wouldn't he?

I'm not sure of his position. Is it winger? We lost Kuba and Kevin Grosskreutz had to play like 3 different positions. Besides, if he is anything as good as his brother, he would get more time than Aubameyang, who, like Mkhytarian has been for the most part, "meh".

Then again, Lewa was also kind of crappy in his first season and it took him a whole year to displace Lucas Barrios. And he got that chance when Barrios got injured with Paraguay.

To answer your question, I'm looking forward to his arrival.

i believe he plays pretty much all across an attacking 3.

I believe he's left and center in the attacking band. His first year at Zulte he was LM more or less and now he has the CAM #10 reigns. Perhaps @Belgian guy can clarify.

What's happened to him this year? Is there any good explanation, just bad luck or something else?

just dropped off form and suffered a couple of annoying injuries- ankle, etc.

I also think that rise of Atsu, who was just voted Vitesse POTY, was a large factor as well

And the emergence of Traore too IMO. Piazon was relied on heavily, after the window, not so much because help arrived.

Is anyone watching the first leg of the youth cup final?

DaSilva opens the scoring on 49 minutes. Given this leg is away, this is a great performance so far.

1-1 in the 70th minute. Moussa Dembele (not that one) scores for them yet again (his 8th in the cup)!

2-1 down now, Hyndman on 71.

3-1 with a goal from Burgess. Poor defending and uncertain keeping, no-one picks up the biggest man on the pitch from 2 yards out.

Great individual work from Musonda for that one. Patient and crafty - could teach Torres a thing or two about playing in the box.
