Well last year there were two bundesliga teams in the semi-final and they each knocked out a Spanish team.

Disagree here, top to bottom I think BL is stronger just not this year as you have a lot of traditional clubs struggling big time and in danger of being relegated like Hamburg and Stuttgart. But this is an anomaly tho
